Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
About 35c or hotter every day for 3 weeks. Too hot to fish. Today cooled down to 21c, and up at higher elevation only 9c at noon. Good reason to get out of the house.

Took mine out on the Texas Hill Country Tour Trail today. Nothing difficult but had some nice weather and some cooler temps after some storms

Same. That cooler day was a great chance to get out. Some heavy downpours on an off that day which was really welcome.

When we lived in Vancouver, we vacationed every summer for 20 years in Kelowna. Back then a 35c day was very rare. For the last several years it’s the new normal. At high elevation the mountains are now tinder dry 2 weeks after the snows melt.

Here is Kelowna heat for the first 3 weeks of July, 35c or more each week. Looks like a few days of cooler weather right now, but then the forecast shows another week of 34-37c range. Too hot to go anywhere those days.

I was southwest of Aguila Rd, I think the area is called the Belmont Mining District. Really scenic part of the world.

Took advantage of another cool day and showers. 15c at high elevation, so nice to feel that cool air!

Found a new lake today that I was not even looking for. Saw it in my backroad app and checked it out.

A beautiful small lake, hope to fish this when it cools down more. Hike in for the last bit, belly boat only for this one. No way to carry a boat in.

Fresh cougar scat and urine on the hike into the lake.

So you have a "Hundred Acre Wood" in your backyard? That would be way beyond cool!

I drove down Waipio Valley’s beach, today. Only real 4x4s can go down. Not the AWD crap. I drove down before, during this year’s Memorial Day Weekend. This time better photos.:D
