Glad I didnt after seeing the car care nut review and terrible fit and finish. That 88Rotors vibrating hood.

I like you both. But with all due respect to TB, he doesn't really know what he likes.

What? Literally Tacomas. Just can’t decide if I really like this gen and if I jump what trim. Considered full size only cause pricing and my little that is now 5 months old. But I’ll be in a taco for the foreseeable future and have a long history with. And no offense taken.

Car seats just add to the fun of car shopping. I’m worried they won’t fit as well in the new 4Runner since it looks like they shrunk the back seat. It’s a tight fit behind my driving position currently but it works without having to move the seat. Why not put it behind the passenger you may ask? So I can still fold the 60 split down when needed. And with Toyotas latest track record, a Tundra is no longer on my list and I don’t trust the new 4Runner due to the similarities to the new taco. LC seems better built, but shares the same powertrain so time will tell there too. I like the LC, and the back seat seems much bigger than my current 4Runner, but the wife doesn’t like the looks. So I think I’m stuck in my 4Runner for the foreseeable future too.

Agreed, an Xtra Cab is the only possible configuration those seats would make any sense.

I watched this last night man the pro looks so much bigger then the offroad and my dealer got its first Pro in I was checking it out last night. I just couldn't imagine spending 40k CDN more for the Pro then what I paid.

TacoBuffet's only fault is loving too much, and too many Tacomas at the same time lol.

Sounds like their trying to make a 75K truck out of it and have it go to the highest bidder......

They'll probably do the $2500 ceramic coating and window tint. Along with that $1000 "security system", swap out some tires and wheels for another 4k or so. And, of course, it will need those $75 charging cables.;)

Look at it this way: it's $10k CAD cheaper than a Land Cruiser at typical street prices, and has better suspension:p

The Pro is a lot more expensive this generation, so it will remain a low volume niche vehicle. I think the Iso seats will remain. In a year or two, Toyota could come up with an "Xtreme Baja Edition" that deletes the rear seats entirely, like the GR Corolla. Wouldn't put it past Toyota to offer paddle shifters like the Hilux Revo.

Um, this is pretty much true of all Japanese stocks at this time.

We'll see. I generally agree with the sentiment, and the Extreme version, but I just think the seats will at the least become an option, if not vanish.

The Pro seats need to be an option. The snorkel and light bar on the Trailhunter need to be options.

Think how many more they would sell…
