What a great episode!

I especially liked Rhaenyra & Alicent's dialogue.

Lots of phrases that describe human behavior throughout this episode.

"Unhappy People Look For Someone To Hate."

Season 3 is all about War.

This definitely was a "tickler" of things to come.

 

That’s what they said season 2 was going to be lol. I guess it was war, but still feels like it was mostly build up to bigger things to come. Aegon mentioned his dragon Sunfyre was dead, which is a pretty big change from the books considering what he and his dragon are supposed to be involved in later

 

I think that’s supposed to be a red herring. Sunfyre is probably badly injured and still nursing him back to life.

 

Hopefully, I feel like they would let him know though if they were nursing his dragon back to health. But even if she is dead, maybe he claims another who knows. I just hope they aren't looking to change that major character's death that that eventually leads to because that's a huge part of the story, not to mention already foreshadowed in detail in the GoT series.

 

I doubt it, it’s too big of a story line for them to alter it. But again who knows! Excited for S3….even if it’s 2 years away. At least they came out and said there would be 4 seasons which I think is required to fully tell the Dance of the Dragons

 

There just aren’t too many shows I’m willing to wait two years between seasons.
