Not bad! Do you think it held up better than gravel would have?

No, I’m not to impressed with the asphalt millings on the hill. It’s easy to spin on them if you aren’t careful. They are great for flat areas.

Gotta get them sprayed with oil. Call your local asphalt outfit to come and spray it. Soaks into the millings and helps them adhere to eachother in the heat of summer. Also, it’s not very eco friendly. With the rains we get out here they won’t sell it to residential customers anymore due to the runoff. I worked for a guy who had a mile long driveway of millings and had his sprayed every summer if only to keep the dust down. Asphalt millings get real dusty when they dry out.

A key point there is that you get light weather nearly all of the time. :rain:

Very true. We get 9 months of soggy days with barely the sun popping out. Winters are wettest and during El Niño November through February gets lots of rain. Not a lot of snow in the lowlands though. Where he loves out on the Olympic peninsula, they have a stretch called the banana belt where it gets less rain. This is usually the areas East and Northeast of the Olympic mountain range. They call it the rain shadow. I however live at the foot of the cascades and get more rain.

I know, I spent 18 years living in Puyallup. I remember it well. I probably get the same rainfall annually in TN, but it comes way more sporadically and in heavier doses. So you usually have time to dry out between storms.

Water carved out the Grand Canyon. The golf course I work on has a bunch of culverts. Every one of them is eroded around the edge's. Weren't put in right and water found a way. When installing drainage you cannot make a mistake or cut a corner. You will suffer the consequences.

Someone on here told me water doesn’t hurt anything, it’s moving water.

And that’s what we’re all fighting.

Of course there are exceptions. Like when slow moving water fills a bowl (like New Orleans), and then the water sits in the bowl for a month in a lot of places (like after Katrina).:eek::eek:

Anyone looking for a B7200 HST with a front mounted snow blower? (Quick Hitch)
It's in the shed behind the replacement.

Nope was my reply & after the asschewing stopped I put the order in. Supposed to be here in 2 weeks. :)

Yes she wanted me to get it.
Yes the implement is on its way.

She thinks it will be safe & easier to get into places that SHE wants me to brush hog verses places I already do.

NO she isn't paying for it.
