late to the party (as per usual) - I'm in NM. :p

ABQ is a mix of just fine and bars on all ya windows. It's also where the main airport is - but your one leg flights are very limited yet.

I had the idea halfway through that sandwich to make the cheese chips beforehand and put them inside so there melty delicious cheese with a crunch in the middle.

Hear Sofia crying in her room last night around 3am, go in and ask her what's wrong...

    "I pooped my pants!!"

FML...ugh...ok let's get you cleaned up

*checks her PJs and underwear and they're totally clean*

Uh, honey...you didn't poop your pants

    'YES I DID I POOPED'

we go back and forth a few times before I just give up, pretend to clean her up and put her in new PJs so we can both get back to bed

I guess dream pooping can feel pretty real

DAMN son that was some fast thread searching

but yes, I suppose I'm lucky it didn't become too real. She just started sleeping without wearing pull-ups about 6 months ago and has only had one accident, so we've been pretty fortunate. I've been told it's harder (overnight accidents) with little boys though. I can believe it because holy fuck, River has like a gallon of piss in his diaper every morning. Sofia was never like that.

You know how I told you a year back or two how my mind works in weird ways?

I'll remember the weirdest shit someone said way back, which quickly allows me to catch someone lying about almost anything if a counter statement is made at any point later in time.

In this case, it was simply something that relates

I can't remember important shit when I want or need to though :bananadead:

But yeah dude, Theo's diaper is freaking hanging low whenever I pick him up out of the crib every morning like holy fucking shit. And that diaper weighs a ton too pulling it off.

Is it really harder for boys to have an accident?

    @Ozark_RegCab

    Your prayers have been answered

Now you can quit bitching about how horribly unreliable your Tacoma is and get back into an 80 series and complain about that instead:luvya:

I've just read that boys are harder to potty train in general and tend to have more accidents in the transition stage out of diapers. Sofia definitely had her fair share of accidents in the daytime, we didn't want to deal with it at night so we made her wear pull-ups to bed until she turned 4. Will likely do the same with River.

But yeah River pees so much at night that he was starting to wet his entire mattress through the diaper, so we bought these pad things for baby diapers that adds extra soaking layers for nighttime. And he still sometimes overfills it. Diaper weighs like a kids bowling ball in the AM lol

Definitely should invest in those waterproof mattress covers! Theo was doing the same for a bit.

Heck I even use one on the guest bed that way nothing ever gets into the mattress; clean for everyone.

Oh yeah his and her mattress have waterproof covers, but it still sucks to have to change out all the sheets and their PJs at night when an accident does happen. Even our couch bed has a waterproof cover, mostly because we don't trust the cat

I think those covers make it easier to sweat while sleeping in warmer months though, makes the mattress less breathable. But it's a fair trade off versus having a mattress ruined by moisture over time
