So far I’m impressed with balance, noise level, low rolling resistance. Definitely taller than the KM3’s on buddies 1’st gen. Will have to do major mods to put spare underneath.IMG_6902.jpg

I have a 255/85r16 as my spare tire and it fits just fine in the spare location underneath the bed.
I pounded the drivers side tire centering prong back a bit but not much and maybe not needed. It fits up flat and without any extra tire width poking down.

That’s what I had read. My problem is contact with the driver side spring hanger and other side contacting the exhaust hanger. My first gen would cook tires, even with header wrap until I had a tailpipe made for clearance

I ran 255/85 R16 Cooper ST MAXXs but averaged only 35K miles with very conservative driving. Also averaged 14-15 MPGs with my 3.5 V6 auto. Switched to 235/85 R16 BFG AT K02s and now averaging 19-20 MPGs and still look and perform awesome.

Looks clean, would love to see the 235s as well. How was the stock gearing on the 255s?

Stock gearing worked fine other than the MPGs. To be honest, I didn’t really notice a difference but I’m not out wheeling rough trails.

I'm debating the 235, 255, and 265/75. The 255's look best but I also don't want to tank the mpg

I found anytime you go wider, your MPGs suffer. I just stumbled on the 235/85R16 size because they’re the same diameter but skinnier. I was afraid they might feel unstable, but they’re fine.

and tires are based on conditions. If you live in a city i see no point of having wider tires, unless you like wasting fuel for grocery shopping.

Other way around for rural areas, you do want those FAT, BEEFY tires.

I have no issues with my stock 245/r75/16
I’m not off road except for gravel roads occasionally to and from hunting locations.

like the gas mileage and low noise.

Same here. My '22 TRD OR 6M does great on and off-road with good all terrain 245/75R16 tires. I like to keep my good road manners and mpgs. And I've been impressed how well it "wheels" off road.
