Alright guys, I spent the past week reading every single page. From development to the initial release to waiting on the switch...ALL OF IT!

I got the install done, to hell with that driver side boot! I have a few issues:

Unhooked the battery for the install, plugged in the T harness in the A pillar to test before install, hooked the battery back up...the switch wouldn't turn the lights on when selected to the ON position, it also wouldnt turn off the driver side pod until the door is closed, then it fades like designed....bad switch?

Also after the install, hooked the battery up and popped the dome fuse, have some ordered from Amazon, hoping to just replace and be done with it. Any ideas why it randomly popped?

I’d check all the wires to make sure you didn’t accidentally pinch a wire. I’ve read people pinching them in the mirror assembly and damaging wires through the boot depending on what your method was getting it through there.

    G’luck and keep us posted.

I had an issue with the splitter on the pillar not being wired correctly. Some were crossed into wrong spots. Luckily I figured it out. Meso still sent another splitter. So look at the splitter and make sure they go straight across to the same location on the plugs.

Looking for the cap this puddle light replaces on drivers side. Anyone have one laying around after this mod they would be willing to part with?

    Thanks.

Maybe someone can give me a couple options. Trying to figure out wiring. I’ve got the original V1 footwells with A-pillar harness and splitter for the puddle pods. I also have meso puddle pods and probably have the splitter in there for them.

I’ve ordered a roof rack and plan to instal angled rock lights for additional side lighting towards the back. I want them to come on with the puddle pods, like when I walk up to my truck or open the door.

Anyone know which wire I should splice for this? The lights will be smaller LEDs, like rock lights.

If it was me, I would trace back the ends where the LED connect and splice after the splitter.

Don't fuck with the harness, tap the violet wire (as signal to added relay) at the Cargo Light switch connector.

Thanks for the advice. I saw there have been a few harnesses made for this throughout the years but none seem to be available now.

I had been thinking about just splicing into the wires before the harness but thought there has to be a better way. I see your post about the cargo light switch connector. I’ve got the switch but no bed lights, not sure if that’ll matter.

Circuit does it's job, regardless of missing switch or bedlights. Just tap the violet.(-)
Always hot fused to relay and coil, then coil to violet.

P.S. Place an ON-OFF-ON switch so you can have them ON whenever, common pin on added switch from relay ground. Other pin to violet, remaining pin to ground. Switch must have independent illumination.
