    Yes!

edit to add: with the final dusting he recommends, don’t go too heavy too quick. The seasoning is salty and can overpower it

The last few butts I’ve done are this way, my wife prefers it too

The smell that this seasoning and cholula produce in the smoker is fantastic! Never smelled anything so delightful.

@AugustaTaco I'll take your advice. I packed the seasoning on well in the beginning, and also added a pinche when wrapping. Probably have enough.

    Wrapped up and braising now:

Ho lee chit. Best tacos I've ever had. And I live in SoCal where tacos are abundant.

    Tacos have:
    - Meat Church Mexican pulled pork
    - Finely chopped onion
    - Avacado
    - Fresh cilantro
    - Mexican Cotija cheese
    - White corn tortillas warmed up
    - Fresh lime squeezed
    - Avacado lime sauce/dressing

Overnight brisket. Turned out great. Purposely bought a small one and did a heavy trim (smoked trimmings for chili at some point). Might not go quite as small next time, skinny end of the flat was a bit dry…still tender though

Did you use BBQ seasoning on your ice?

Soup got a two thumbs up from my wife. Kids could care less but I’m curious to see what the little bums cook themselves when they’re on their own.

My parents butchered food and I attribute that to my desire to cook tasty meals. My oldest is 14 so we’ll see!

Try smoking some water and making smoked ice cubes.

Yes done that! I cold smoked a bottle of Casadores Repo. Poured it in an aluminum pan and smoke tube with oak pellets 1/2 hour.
