    Hey TacoWorld,
21’ Taco TRD 4x4 SB- just had a shop install the Bilstein 6112/5160 with AAL , Camburg UCA X-Joint , Method 703’s 0- offset wrapped in 285/70/17 Falken AT4W. I’m experiencing rubbing, had the truck aligned but the show ran out of caster due to the UCA’s they got it close and drives down the road straight but still rubs when I turn into driveways or make sharp turns . Before I had the mods done I was running 16” SCS RAY10 wheels 16x8 with a - 10 or -12 offset . Would it better to run the smaller wheel size and a less aggressive tire size, would that help the rubbing/ alignment issues?

Thanks, I really don’t want to chop the cab mount, plastics can be trimmed and replaced IMO. I’ve looked into torque tuning to alleviate gear hunting on the highway….any experience with that?

A tune will help but regearing is better. You do both, you’ve unleashed it.

the uca is why your rubbing now. it moves the wheel back towards the cab mount more. you will rub even worse with -12 offset if tire size is the same.

cab mount chop with 0 offset should be very minimal.

I’ve seen adjustable UCA, Spc is one but has terrible reviews. JBA is another

your ucas are fine. adjustable ucas are a bad fix imo. your ruining your alignment for the sake of tire clearance
