Well there you go, winter hobby right there haha. Theres so many Lego bikes you can build. Might be hard to find the R1200 at this point, but that, the ducati, bmw m1000rr, the h2, the mt10, and even the vespa.

Theres the massive land rover defender, the new g-wagon looks sweet.

Or just buy a real basket case fixer upper bike and spend about the same amount as you would on Lego haha

My 5 and seven irons are the best clubs in my bag. Always have been for some strange reason. I did finally get a decent set of clubs a few years ago. Played once with ‘em and haven’t played since. Good luck with it.

Flight two got delayed by an hour, but sitting on the plane waiting for people to finish boarding now. Looking like seat next to me is empty, hell yeah.

Traveling with a helmet and gear is less awkward than I thought it’d be. Haven’t gotten a single weird glance yet, thank god airports are the wild west and anything goes. My jacket is a gray klim marrakesh, which is pretty normal looking and I packed my riding pants. Amazed my bag didn’t get searched by TSA with the random assortment of tools, some of which were pointy like the tire hole reamer in my patch kit, and large amount of cash.

I did learn my dome is too big and my helmet won’t fit in an overhead bin on these regional jets haha.

Wild that a tire reamer is good to go, but nail clippers is a show stopper.

How'd you manage that with full wrap guards?! Impressive!

    Exactly.

Wifey and kiddo will be home for a week from Canada tomorrow (seeing friends and her family). That said, (going by land) they entered Canada in-less than 2 minutes at the border, and a whopping 30 seconds coming back into the states, according to her. I’m not saying it should have taken longer or the border should have gone through everything. But She said it was crazy fast and neither side checked squat.

Sold my ‘15 WR250F a year ago to pay off the brief loan I had on a ‘22 HD XL1200X. Should have bought an ATV, kicked myself when I got home. Trying to sell the HD now to get a Polaris ATV to avoid a loan.
    Turn 71 late Sept.

I stopped carrying them after too many hassles. Pain to remember to remove them from my travel bag though.

    Flags makes sense then.

Land crossing is always fast, both ways. Going to the US is typically for parts, so quick discussion on how it's cheaper to drive all the way and back and still save money is the biggest time sink. Coming back is 50/50 if they want to deal with charging taxes on purchases.

Yup. Her family and friends drive to the states all the time for stuff. I don’t blame them one bit, from what I hear.

Real glad it wasn’t some craigslist scam. About 30 miles into the return trip. What a fuckin hoot. sixth gear, 80mph to 100 is like half a second (ok maybe exaggerating) and i’m only halfway in the tachometer at that point.

Got caught in a rain shower in a mesh jacket so at a rest stop airing out real quick.

The Devil's Tower trip was all rain and wind, but the Marrakesh did well for me. Just some pins and needles as the drops came through.

Glad to see you are liking the bike! You should be getting some video of your first impressions for your channel.
