    Nah, fridges are propane nowadays and on 24/7, beer's always cold! Pretty sure there's enough beer in the stockroom to last even our group a solid couple months :D

    A bit windy this weekend, but still an awesome time! We had an interesting bear encounter Friday night. Been camping at this lake for probably 15 years, had more bear encounters than I can count, never had one quite this like. It showed up about 8 PM, right as we're just finishing eating dinner...conversation, music playing lights all around camp. It was pretty skinny looking, but I thought had too much brown on top to be a juvenile. It took 14 rounds all said and done, and two of us hiking halfway up the mountain before it finally took the hint and disappeared over the mountain towards Blue Lakes. Met the ranger on the way out Sunday and chatted for maybe half hour, he mentioned a nuisance bear that's been bothering upper Blue that they've been getting reports of. Heads up if you're camping in the neighborhood!

    Arrived Wednesday at noon, secured @Motofox's favorite spot for his birthday, hiked a little over 26 miles, swam more than I have in years, failed to catch any trout, thoroughly broke in the new griddle, scouted some new camping spots, and left early enough on Sunday to avoid most of the traffic.
