lots of different covers/opinions, and several good choices. I ended up going with Lomax because of $$$ and quality. Might have gone Bakflip if $$ wasn’t an issue

I wonder how long it will take for Toyota to develop a transmission revision. I reckon something like that won't happen fast.

Why? Because of a dozen or so failures that were mostly caused by bad torque converters, they also identified and have a fix for the handful or manual failures.

The only thing that needs revision is the fact that those affected are waiting several weeks or months for parts!

There are a few things with my OR that I think Toyota could should have done better but the Power Train isn’t one of them.

The loan is conditional, meaning Ford still must meet certain requirements before gaining access to the funds. Neither Ford nor the Department of Energy detailed those conditions. Also, the loan amount is up to $9.2 billion, but Ford could use less than that.

The loan funds will support 5,000 construction jobs in the two states and, ultimately, 7,500 staff positions at the three plants, according to the DoE. The loan would be part of the DoE’s Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Loan Program, a $25 billion program to reduce US dependence on oil and reduce carbon emissions.

Question for everyone. For the first time, For the first time,
I’m actually contemplating getting the extended warranty because of all of the electronics involved in our new trucks along with its going to be a hybrid. what is everyone’s opinion on this?

Or just trade before the warranty is up. Warranty still sounds like a waste of money, on a vehicle you don't think will make it 3 years. Or lease.
