Denver steak in cast iron pan with brown butter eggs and texas toast for dinner.

 

My wife and I went to a show in downtown Minneapolis last night so to avoid the 92 degree heat while we waited for the doors to open, we split an order of chicken pad Thai.

The restaurant was even good enough to give us our own bowls.

 

Didn't make em but..... Tacos!

 

No pics, but went have Korean - Japchae, Kimchi Pork Jjigae, and Beef Bulgogi.

That's a combination I wouldn't have thought of with the lamb and venison. Let us know how it turns out.

 

Mangos from neighbor, pineapple is from my yard. Due to advanced ripeness, these all went into the dehydrator.....

 

I pan fried to brown it up it after the pic, doesnt look that appetizing but wow its really good! I baked @350° for 1hr 20 min. The recipe didnt specify temp.

Damn! I would totally eat that. I bet the gaminess of the Lamb and Venison gives it a nice flavor too!

 

I like both...the deer here arent gamey. Its really good recipe i was surprised for sure!

 

Makes sense. California deer can get really gamey, especially once it gets hot and depending on what they eat.

 

I feel venison gaminess is directly proportional to how it was processed.

taking about LAMB. I made a summer lamb stew after harvesting fresh yellow beans from the office garden.

 

In my mind the lamb would overpower the much more subtle venison. Glad it worked for you.
