Found oil all over my wheel wells and checked for possible torn cv boots but nothing I did look at the rear shock and it looked suspicious. Other than that I can’t figure out where the oil came from.

I'm betting unbeknownst to you, you ran over something oily. If it was just one wheel then yea, but the amount you have I'm a little suspect.

I'd say you ran something over 100% unknowingly but also that rear King seems to have been leaking for a good bit of time.

I’ll clean the grease off and monitor from there. But the amount of oil found all over the wheel wells just don’t make any sense if it’s from the rear shock.

As of now, there’s no current oil leaking when truck is parked. Hoping I just ran over something oily

Correct. Coincidence that running over something of oily substance led to the discovery of a leaking shock. The splatter is not from the shock.

    What’s the mileage?

Edit: Not something to stress over too much. The shock loses performance and if left for a long time could possibly damage the piston/internal body of the shock but that would require the shock to be extremely low on oil. Inspect the shaft for any nicks/damage that could have torn the seals.

Definitely low mileage. Should have gotten ~30k before seeing signs for a rebuild. Check for a nicked shaft. Shouldn't be leaking already. King doesn't use the best quality seals I've heard.
