    @ColoradoTJ

A lot of the groups I’m in don’t allow politics, just like TW; I can agree with that. However, a lot of these groups are really annoying with stuff like profanity. I posted pictures of a custom 1980s Corolla with a “Hellboy” motif. It was was removed in short order because the word “hell” was on the car numerous times…

Now, what about the Wagoneer? I would honestly never buy a newer Jeep…

I would love to know how someone smart enough to have that much money is stupid enough to buy an Armada
Reported for making me feel stupid :D

The Armada has actually been trouble-free; I would still rather have a 2nd Gen Sequoia…

    Garbage. Total garbage.
If you have one, sell it asap.
And don’t sell it to someone you “like”.

My first ever coon hunting trip was in one of those.
It was unforgettable. I swore I'd never go again.
But I did, about 15 years later. And it sucked just as much.

All I need to do is leave some garbage on my back porch and wait.
There'll be 3 or 4 coons out there in it by midnight.

Yeah, chasing dogs and coons over ridges, through creeks, briars, and brush is NOT for me.

I wouldn't buy one either. They are for trashing. Period.

I love old Grand Wagoneers, CJ-7s, and anything with a 4.0L I-6. Newer Jeeps suck though…

I drove my old boss's husband's 2014 Wrangler, which obviously has the 3.6L. The only reason he got an automatic he totaled his stick shift 2007 Wrangler and the girl he was dating at the time couldn't drive a stick. One day at work, he randomly asked me if I'd ever driven a Jeep Wrangler before; I said no, and he tossed me the keys...

The Jeep felt more sluggish than my Tacoma, despite having two more cylinders and roughly 126 more horsepower; I think this was due to the Jeep's weight. The Jeep had great A/C and a decent factory sound system, but I didn't get the appeal. My boss's husband bought the Jeep new and just traded it for a new Ford Maverick this year. It had something like 150K miles on it and had no mechanical issues that I'm aware of, but he beat the shit out of that thing and it was falling apart; I believe Carvana gave him about ten grand.

My mechanic Pete had a newer (2014-2018ish) Dodge Journey with the 3.6L in the shop recently that had like 84K miles. The Journey was leaking oil, and it was some sort of seal at the back of the engine. The cost of labor associated with replacing the part was such that installing an engine out of a wrecked donor vehicle would have been cheaper. The owner opted not to fix the issue at all. The Dodge Journey is seriously the worst MOPAR product of the last 20 years. The Dodge Dart was a turd, but at least those could be had with three pedals...

NAVMAR has had three Chrysler Pacificas in the last seven years. We gave the red 2017 back when the lease was up, and the only issue with it was rust bubbles on the hood. NAVMAR now has two white 2020 Pacificas, which have held up extraordinarily well. Unless NAVMAR swapped the 2020 minivans for identical 2024 models, I believe that they may have simply bought the 2020s outright. One of the vans was damaged by a tree during a tornado in 2020 and got $7,500 in damage, but as stated above both vans have held up very well and have somewhere in the range of 60K-70K miles on their 3.6L engines. NAVMAR also has 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan that had to have the transmission replaced at like 110K miles; I think the Caravan has a 4.0L V6.

Unless it's got a HEMI or a Cummins under the hood, I have no interest in newer MOPAR products!

I keep forgetting to post pictures…

Remember the Boston Terrier? I was going to give him to @Stitchgirl90’s landlady, but she said she believed he was worth money and insisted that I keep him; I did some research and found what I believe to be the same item (albeit in near-mint condition) for almost $500!

Amanda cleaned him up to the best of her abilities, and needless to say, I plan on keeping him!
