Unknown Plug Under Washer Reservoir

Pulled my washer reservoir today and noticed an unplugged connector (red arrow), and I'm not sure what it connects to. The green arrow is the washer pump connector. Anyone know what the other plug connects to? Thank you.

 

washer fluid level sensor, not standard in US but is in canada

 

Depending on trim levels, etc. you’ll see open connectors here and there. It’s cheaper to manufacture and install the same wire harnesses than to modify for each trim

It’s annoying that they give us the connector, yet the combination meter specifically does not support the low level warnings. I wanted to swap to the canada jug and add the sensor.

You can order all the parts you want. The indicator is not available in the US cluster that has the large information screen.

Yours MIGHT be the exception if you have the cluster with the tiny screen. You need to jump the terminals at the unused connector by the jug and see if the light on the cluster comes on. If you have the cluster with the large screen like most trims, it will not work.
