I'm looking at finally upgrading from my 2007 and into a 2019, the one I fell in love with is a TRD Sport but the drivers seat has a TON of wear. Cushion broke down, some rips and tears and paint splatter. Former owner was a painter so that checks out and doesn't bother me but what does is the wear. Can you replace a seat with ease?

you could call local upholstery shops or order parts from dealer and do it yourself.
I tend to see things like this, and look for a lot of wear n tear and lack of care elsewhere. I would not buy a retired work truck, but everyone's situation and wants are different.

I don't worry about how my seats look until they get like yours OP. When they do start to look embarrassingly bad, I buy a nice set of seat covers.

Very easy to replace, especially the bottom one. I recently swapped out my old manual driver seat for a powered one and part of that process was using the original covers. I have the seat covers from the 2023 powered seat for sale, but the seat back cover would have to be sewn where the air bag deployed. IMG_0870.jpg

I live in the woods, everyone's truck is a work truck around here. The price is too good to pass up as I've been shopping for a used truck for about three months.

Could Buy a new cushion and used stock covers. I replaced my covers from cloth to leather but only the front since I had younger kids in car seats. It’s that time I can replace the back now.

get something to cut the hog rings, new hog rings and hog ring pliers. Take the whole seat out for ease

Yes, quite easily. The complete seat has four bolts holding it to the floor; the electronics connectors (located in the front) have a multitude of options. Heated or not, manual or automatic, airbags, etc.

You could also, as others suggested replace just the parts or cushions you want, thus becoming your own upholsterer.

Sourcing is the only problem I see here.

The best way to make a used truck your own is to install fresh fart absorption.
