Sounds like you’re just used to disappointing engine output.

As well as millions of other Truck owners...
    Actually, I'm used to performance, my 2004 Legacy 165Hp and 162 lb-ft @4,000 rpm

The amount of 3rd gen owners who seem to be very butthurt and triggered by the existence of the 4th gen is kind of hilarious. I have never understood why if you love your 3rd gen so much you give a shit about someone else owning a 4th gen.

Double hilarious for the old fuddy duddy who mentions how "back in my day" the "real men" who use their "real trucks" for "man things" like "real camping" and shit don't like the 4th gen because of some "sissified turbo" which only proves that the whole world is going to shit

I had a 4th gen rental for a week and I really liked the seating position. I also liked hearing the turbo spool!

They need the extra foot for all the hardcore camping they do. When they’re doing a real life man vs wild with their pickup truck (because that’s how they did it in prehistoric times) and sleeping in the truck bed (because only a bunch of woke sissies would sleep outside in the rain with bugs and shit) they need the extra foot to be comfortable, because only a bunch of bitches would deal with a little discomfort and sleep with their legs scrunched.

Wanted a new reasonably priced, economical truck to lug me and my stuff around. The 4th gen made it much easier to pick something else.

I’ll add another, my 4th gen idles in park and in gear so smooth you can’t even tell it’s running. It’s smooth driving, refined. Power delivery is incredibly smooth with instant torque, seating position and dash layout are amazing, modern technology. There is literally nothing that would make me want to go back to a 3rd gen.
