11k is what I would offer with some worn out parts and 200k in miles, and not a dime more.

Around here that's a pretty amazing price but your area may be different. In my area that price would usually get you either 4x4 or 2012+ but not both. It's hard to find any 2012+ 4x4 here for under $20-25k unless it's terribly beat up.

Not to bash the others but most of the responses I see here on TW about truck pricing is that everything is overpriced. And they may be correct but unfortunately when you're car shopping you don't have any control over market pricing. I feel like their responses are based on their feeling of perceived value rather than having spent any time actually shopping or trying to figure out what market values are. $16k may sound like a lot of money for a truck with 190k miles but in my experience that's simply what you gotta pay if you want a Tacoma. I'm not sure what people think the alternative is. Again, your area may be different, but around here the seller wouldn't have to budge on that price and you're not going to find a significantly better deal - this actually probably would BE the better deal compared to what else is out there. Here, that would have sold in a few days probably at that price. And, again, what are the alternatives? See what kind of Ford or Chevy you can get for $10k that'll have similar miles? Buy a newer Tacoma for $30-60k? Those don't seem like better options to me.

I bought essentially the same exact truck for the same price back in 2019. It's now got 210k miles on it and I've been chipping away at some bigger maintenance items to ensure I can get another 10yrs and 100k out of it.

4Runner and a Rav4 is a good combo, speaking from experience. And realistically, the 4Runner will haul 90% of what I used the Taco for.

For the other 10% (loose gravel, large rocks*, loose mulch or dirt), a $20-25 open UHaul trailer can haul more anyway (plus you don't bang the truck up).

    * Just remembered, my wife did stuff several hundred pounds of rocks in the back of the 4Runner once (12-18" granite stones). So it really doesn't mind being the truck in the family.

I would definitely offer a lower price. From KBB it ranges from 13k-16k in the columbus, oh area. I don't think the market in OH is inflated. So it should be around this range or less. I would only pay on the higher end if it came with all maintenance records due to the high mileage. If there is no maintenance record I would definitely offer mid to lower range since you'll be expected to do the maintenance and fork out the cost.

I would say 14-15k would be fair assuming there aren't any huge repairs incoming that they can prove beyond a reasonable doubt via maintenance records. Less if their records aren't that thorough. Truck looks pretty good aside from that hitch.

overall the truck looks in good shape and the rust is not really even there. but with the miles that is kinda high... the market value of these trucks is a bit stupid so if you dont need a truck then dont get one... no reason to buy a 200k mile truck thats going to need loads of work in a few years! if you can sell the f150 and just keep what you have and use the 4runner (which will be more then enough with a small utility trailer like a 4x8 or 5x8) and get a rav4 and hold off until prices drop on these dumb things!

i needed a truck last year after my 22 rangers trans was failing and found a 15 tacoma. it had allll its paperwork and original info on the truck super clean no issues bone stock and was a two owner truck so i decided to take a hit at 23k with 80k miles. for me that was to much but i needed a truck and did not want a 3rd gen i wanted another 2nd gen and wanted an access cab so its what i got.

I'd say it would be a great deal at about 13-14k.

This is more 10k after seeing the rust and suspension.

Owning a 2013 CA truck since 5miles.... that amount of rust would have to be less than 5k for me to buy. If the receiver is that bad the boxed section up front of the frame is likely not showing but just as if not worse.

engine and transmission as long as oil changes have been done somewhat regular and trans as been done 2x. Fine. Rear axle is highly dependent on when it got its first break in gear oil change done.
