3rd gen tacoma CSP

I have paint peeling from the rear driver side window and the sides of the engine bay. I heard about the “recall” from a few people, so i took my taco to the dealership where they said they’d do a paint test where they stick a piece of tape and rip off your paint.

2 days later, today, I got a text saying they cant fix it because the Customer Support program isnt available yet. I never knew toyota could damage my paint further, and still not fix it knowing the paint is a manufacturing defect.

im making this post asking if anybody has any insight, or has gotten their tacoma fixed yet. This is a big issue and im extremely disappointed seeing toyota’s customer service this inept

 

What color & model year is your Taco?

 

2019 sr5 super white

 

White (not sure which variations) has been a problem color of Toyota across several model lines.
I'd be persistent with the dealer and start writing letters to Toyota USA corporate.
