I am a righty, except I taught myself to eat with my fork in my left hand, using a knife and fork continuously instead of cutting then putting the knife down and switching the fork to my right hand. I am teaching myself how to throw a ball left handed and can do a halfway decent job of shooting a basketball with my left hand, even to the point of making a half court shot left handed.(back in the day.....) And I am very good at using my feet since I have a soccer background.

Working in Parks & Recreation I once went to a conference where one of the presenters had no arms. He was a soccer official and did everything with his feet, including getting dressed with a button up shirt! His challenge to the audience was for us to button a shirt without using either thumb. Try it.....o_O

In my 20+ years, we built three vehicles for guys without arms. Two for the same guy, one to replace the one he totaled.

Years ago there may have been a tree there and the ground is starting to fall in some. Or maybe they buried a horse or cow. Shine a flashlight in it and see how deep it is. If you see eyes staring back, well, this may get interesting!

So, upon further investigation, it looks like it was dug from underneath. The gravel is quite disturbed (not quite down with the sickness). Might grab a couple bags of concrete, mix it up, and throw it down there.

    New poll!!!!

You’re not the only one here. I can see colors but don’t always know greens/browns, yellows/oranges/reds. Purple is made up as are any of those fancy colors.

Interesting that the first topic discussed is reducing steering effort.
60's & 70's domestic cars like my old Fords require almost no effort to turn the wheel, not much "road feel" either.

At that time the manufacturers were more concerned with reducing driving effort compared to the cars of the 40's & 50's and also isolating the driver from noise, vibration & harshness.

My back is safe for now. My local TSC didn’t have the safe on sale in stock and don’t expect to get any in. They aren’t sure if the safe is being discontinued or what. The TSC over in Pensacola has 1 safe left. I’ll call them in the morning and see if it’s still there but I wasn’t dealing with afternoon traffic over there to go get it today.
