Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
What's yalls preferred substance for the bolt side and heim side of the misalignment spacer. The rod ends on my 4 linked trailer did well with regular antiseize, but it saw far less miles than my truck will. moly grease, marine grade something, etc? I live by the ocean, where plastic corrodes, so trying to make life easier down the road.

I ran the steering stops and had the same thing happen, same kit. It hits the bypass mount.

Yeah, that's where it hit on mine.

What did you do to correct? Was thinking of welding on a piece of 3/8" metal like on the DK kits.

I don't know how you guys are getting enough steering angle to hit that.
I cut my stops off the LBJ adapters and the limit is now the rear side of the adapter to LCA
Definitely feels like I lost some steering angle to lock compared to before going LT.

It happens at full droop. Plus, rocks add forces to the steering that you can't replicate in a static environment.

I sold the kit before I got around to fixing it, but I was going to run a tundra rack that limits steering angle anyway

I had it loosen my brake line several times and there were big gouges in the bypass mounts from the banjo bolt hitting.

    Whole lotta stuff
Can confirm. If it's not the caliper, its the bolt.

Its funny, I lost a huge amount of turning radius with the JD Kit when compared to my old AllPro Kit. The difference between the 2 kits is that the JD kit uses the OEM LBJ adapter whereas the AllPro kit used a machined adapter. Hopefully I have the LBJ Adapters oriented the right way lol.

Exactly where is everything touching? I can't envision it. I still have to go back to Ians place to finish the Bypasses and Bumps, hopefully we'll get that addressed at the same time

Supposedly, there was a design change with the kit that prevents this from happening. I just so happen to have an older kit.

    Andrew's pic shows it well.

Thanks for the Picture, super helpful. My calipers are different, I don't have that Banjo Fitting. I bought my Kit used from @RonRon23 and I believe his was the 2nd production +4 Kit that was made, so it's an older kit.

Doesn’t the wider track make the turn radius worse? I could be wrong. When I cycled it on my truck, my banjo bolt was close, but not as close as some of these pictures I’ve seen from the 2.25 kits. I also removed all my steering stops.

Edit. I was also moved forward on the pivot kit and slide rack. Not sure how it changed how it all fit.

I know the wider track effects the turn radius. But damnit, didnt expect the huge decrease and hitting the curb when making my first usual U-Turn with the kit installed..embarrassing that it happened in front a bunch of people

Total Chaos mid-travel front. JD Fab SUA rear.
I too lost steering radius on a 2.25 kit that was installed spring this year. Have not seen the banjo bolt problem but my 3rd Gen also does not appear to have the same.

Yeah, my banjo has left an impression on the LCA. I guess I should solve that problem at some point.

or just get a tundra rack.

mine is a 2.25” kit. Maybe it’s not an issue on the 4”. :notsure:

    Would make sense to me.

Working on moving the battery to the back seat of my cab, came across this kit.

    Any experience with this kit

For those that have relocated your battery, what's the complete run down in parts you needed?
