I think any of us who have been here for awhile get a chuckle out of that comment. Lol

It’s a requirement. A public service announcement. It’s why idiots like me do their own work:rant:

@Shoeby , name them and shame them! Who did that mess? I have a few shops near me that I would trust ( to follow printed directions) if you need a place.

Out of curiosity, what did they charge for assembly?

they charged $80, which seemed steep but I was excited to have it done right away. What’s typical?
I’d be interested in a shop recommendation - I’ll DM you

Calling companies out on a forum, some may think it’s the best idea ever, may get you in trouble.

Tbf this forum has had somewhat of a muddy history with some mods standing behind companies that later are found out to have been sketchy the whole time.

Not all mods, and obviously not all case. Just enough though lol.

    Very true.
    And how might you..

I’m not going to argue with them. I said my opinion and stand by it. They are ripping people off for what they charge and will probably make the guy here charge more too now that he has name brand competition.

And yes, the only difference is theirs comes with a cotter pin. Oem of course.:tinfoilhat:

I really want to get my hammer hangers on soon but I need bigger air and could definitely use like literally a second set of hands. I don't know what kind of "official" mod days might be in the works, but if one or more people have the flexibility to slam down a visit to the NEK in September, I have a large outdoor work pad and very pleasant accommodations for anyone who wants to show for a day and jet, stay overnight for fun/scheduling reasons (Kingdom Trails a scenic 15min drive away), food and beer is on me. Large assortment of auto tools onsite, including an extremely shitty wire feed welder that I have never used, bring your own goggles/helmet but otherwise free to play with. I have a compressor that I think will do an OK job running the air hammer, but if someone wants to bring a beefyboi, that would be legit.

John and I have everything that is necessary to get these installed at my place. We can set up a date to install them if you want, but I would not be able to travel up there to do it. We have a mod day going on at my house on August 24th but we have 2 lifts being installed at the same time.
