Toyotas tech tip to dealers on debris in the transmission

Thought I’d share this… seen it posted elsewhere. Toyotas tip to their dealers on transmission failure.

 

Sad they feel like such a tip is needed.

Doesn't say much about their confidence in the tech skills/system understanding

 

It's almost like the whole dealer system needs to be trashed and built from the ground up without a million fingers in the pie. The layers of abstraction between the manufacturer of a vehicle and the end user is astounding.

The level of competency at some dealers would require a TSB reminding employees to wipe their butt after taking a crap.

 

This Tech Tip made me think of a scene from the Breakfast Club. “Could you describe the debris sir?”
