just a couple of things tbh
so have a legit question here.... your nytop bumper is just basically a fancy cover that replaces the original plastic that use to be there right? since even on the website there is no winch mount for this thing? what is the purpose of that??? i love hybrid or slimline bumpers and like seeing more come out but im very confused on this?

that's exactly it, the purpose is that it replaces the plastic with metal, that's all i need/want at the moment with this build.
just want to keep things simple oem+ and as lightweight as possible, leave the winch to the bigger rigs i trail with.

ah well i get being lightweight thats why i have a slimline in my 2nd gen with my winch. but for that price for just a replacement just seems silly? but if you are happy with it go for it i guess. idk why they have it priced so high thou...

Installed a tempered glass, low glare, screen protector to save that big old screen from damage. I can't imagine how expensive that would be to replace.
Also installed a Rhino shackle hitch receiver in black & white to match the truck. I've never cared about color matching, but it's been so long since I had a new truck, I'm having fun with it. $48,000 for a truck and they don't include rear recovery hooks. Oh, well, I actually prefer attaching a strap centered on the truck when pulling someone out. I know it's probably not as strong, but I usually only have to pull people that are lightly stuck at the beach that don't know how to drive on the sand. Lesson learned, but if you get a locking hitch pin, it has to be longer than the ones made for a standard 2", class III OR IV, receiver. I didn't realize Toyota has a much wider receiver even though it's still a 2".

I already bought the wheel blackouts, just haven’t put em on yet. I never thought about the emblem but that’s a good idea! What do I think about plastidip on the wheels?

    Those tailgate letters are THICC!

Curious how that Gator SRX Tonneau cover does with a water tight seal. For around $300, curious as to what might prompt me to spend another $600+ on a hard top if all my needs are to keep stuff from jumping out on road trips (other than the OEM hard top looking reallly nice). How does it look when rolled up and where did you purchase from?

It’s not water tight but minimal amount gets in the bed.Had one on my Tundra and always went through a high pressure no touch wash and it stayed mostly dry with a little puddling near cab end.
Ordered mine at Real Truck and it was $259 last week but looks like price went up.

Thanks for the pic! Honestly, this might be all I need for random trips. We get a lot of rain, so I was curious but if the water is minimal, I'll just keep things in some plastic tubs and be fine. $260 is a steal. Ill look around Black Friday or Labor Day for another sale...

Real Truck seems to drop the price randomly from week to week so keep checking their site.Even at $289 it’s a great cover for those wanting simple coverage IMHO.

I haven’t read if anyone responded to your question yet, but I didn’t find ANY downside to 1” spacers when I installed them on my 22 Tacoma. Not only did it look better, i felt like it handled better. But that couldve been my imagination ‍♂️. It put the stock rims/tires of my 22 right to the edge of the fenders. I just installed all terrain tire's and will be purchasing these but I had KSP’s on my 22 and I don’t really do any “off roading” (unless a dirt road is considered off roading, haha)
