Yeah, I'm real glad I took them off. It was cheap vinyl and seemed like 3 different types. Top stripe came off easy, middle stripe stuck a bit of adhesive behind, bottom stripe left allll the adhesive. A few rounds of goof off and she's back to pretty.

Also, a huge fan of how these soft bags that came with it are removed. They have a lower bar they slide onto, but when you take them off you can unclip the bar out of the bracket so the only thing on the bike when you aren't planning on using them is a little bracket under the passenger seat. Super clean. I wasn't expecting to like them and had looked on ebay for OEM hard cases but I changed my mind now.

    wow thats kinda cool tbh!
yaaa damn Americans! tbh no idea on the others lol
the hitch carrier works but i feel one really good bump that makes the bike drop hard could cause damage vs just towing with a small trailer but idk i could be wrong!

Watch out with goof off. That stuff is gnarly when it comes to paint etc.

What make are the soft bags?

goo gone is fine as long as you dont let it sit on the paint.. after you use the stuff wash the area very good and you will be fine.

    There is a third option...

    upload_2024-8-16_8-43-30.png

love the sound of that. I like bags, use them, like to take them off and then hate what's left behind. Sounds ideal.

My last two jobs blocked photos on company PC. Our IT guy got it overridden at the job I retired at. People were always sending technical photos for ID and I had to send to my personal PC.

I've got lots of highway miles with the GRiSO in particular. (White one) No problems.

It's nice when you get where you're going and your truck takes up only normal amount of space. Can take the Bike on a camping trip for an hour or two of playtime while my GF reads in the hammock and it's not a big deal.

Good option for city dwellers with no room for a trailer. Not for every bike, but if it fits...

    ZERO wear on the tire.

Look at tires on a trailer with no brakes. They dry rot before they lose tread...

Soft knob tires at 75 would not hold up

Ok I won't argue with you. It was designed by an MIT student who wanted a ground loading, no-trailer option for his dirt bike. Got the patent and boom...

He had a rack like yours fail and came up with this.

Id be surprised as fuck if they didn't. What's the brand? I'll look into it.

Thats why I bought the "heavier duty" rack-n-ride. That thing is solid, no question about it breaking. But at 70lbs (with the new lift bar) it is heavy.

Tried one of those cheap aluminum ones and those suckkkkk
