It's what page 90 in the manual says to do (although I saw it here first). It did take me a few tries to figure out that "turn engine switch ON" did not mean "start the engine".

edit: p 90 says to hold the button until the odometer starts blinking, not stops blinking.

Yep, that's got to be the cheapest crap they could have done there :-(

And the hybrid seat doesn't even get the strap. I guess since the battery pack is taller adding another 1/2" for a plastic cover so you could flip up the seat - so you don't mess up your softex - would have been too much.

Finally sat in the TRD Pro seat.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE them. I was really hoping I'd like it.

It makes my larger frame push inwards, all the taller guys didnt like it much.

I’m going to be pretty surprised if it isn’t optional in 2025.

Common issue with the tundra and I’ve heard the Tacomas get to enjoy it as well. They tried a software fix for the tundra and it didn’t work.

I “fixed” mine by resetting the gauge as another member told me it’s the way for now. Who knows if what it is showing right now is accurate though. I saw some Tundras with the issue and it’s been a few years and still no fix

I seriously doubt that it’ll probably be optional 2 to 3 years out. They have to recoup their R&D cost.

Yup, did the ODO reset for my 2024 Tundra 3-4 times now. I stopped backing into my driveway and that stopped it for now.

Well that’s just disappointing to hear. Hopefully Toyota does something to fix it

They're already doing that by getting 48k for an SR5.

Those stupid seats and tacky ass detachable speaker type BS is built into the price of every single Taco, not just the ones with the gimmicks.

That's because of the aggressive side bolsters not the "isodynamics". If they made the iso optional the bolstered seat would likely stay because the Raptors have bolstered seats. Out of curiosity, what is your height and weight?

My opinion is dual zone isn't a worthwhile feature, that's just me. You'll probably forget all about it with in a week. Had DZ in a couple vehicles, I can see where the passenger might like it Stellantis gives the passenger their own screen. DZ is a gimmick!

They'll sell those seats for many years to come, and people will continue to drool over them. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make their way into driving simulators, and I'd happily take one for a motion sim rig :anonymous:

Yeah same here. My wife's thermostat is broken if you know what I mean and she has to have DZ.

I had a gaming chair, since given away. I would like to test that chair out. Pro is a "trophy" truck and whatever usefulness of its components is completely subjective. What better thing to show off your trophy truck to your neighbor than that seat. No other truck has one. The purists here at TW detest the chair, but for everyone of them there is X times amount that think that is the coolest thing in the world. TW is not the real world.

I have yet to find a person outside of TW that thinks the seat is the coolest thing in the world and nothing more than a gimmick that should be an option and in the access cab. I guess you're #1?

If anyone on TW buys a Pro and wants to trash the seats, I'll happily take a passenger seat for my sim rig. What better way to drift than in a true JDM shock absorbing seat? :turtleride:
