My wife drives 2012 Miata, you know, the actual hardtop convertible version. It's a loaded touring edition, pretty much every option with a 6-speed manual transmission. My last on I-5 trip from western WA to central CA was just one flat road. The turns and the hills in southern OR are not even there. I passed some annoying Subaru driver who wouldn't get out of the left lane because he was doing the posted 65mph. I dropped from 6th to 4th and punched it while dropping to the right lane. I looked down and the MX-5 was doing 100mph with the tach at about 7000 rpm. It was effortless, as the Subaru disappeared behind me. (Then I realized that with Washington plates I shouldn't be doing 100 in Oregon. )

It's a fun car, but I'll let her drive it before I get myself arrested. I'm a lot safer for everyone else in my Tacoma or one of my aircooled VWs.

 

NC PRHT is the best. I miss mine.

Well the old girl finally made it in the shop. 300 inline 6, 4 speed on the floor, has a high performance intake, a nice header lowering springs on the front. Needs floor pans and the engine spins freely. So I'm planning on trying to get it to run, then see if it does a burn out. But first I need to get some new battery cables as they are all sorts of chewed up from mice.

 

I ride this 4 or 5 hours every week.

You barely see them out anymore. Some are crashed, others are hibernating. So... my goal is just to enjoy it and keep it running good, not adding more power, lol. It's already at the power level I want anyways.

I really wanted a black/white EVO IX without sunroof. But nowadays, people want to charge an arm and a leg for a good condition, almost stock example. Because I still want to experience owning an EVO, I settled on this silver VIII with sunroof.

Been enjoying it so far! Love the boosted power and rawness of that car and they handle great too. Just a bit of a pain owning a modded example in California, so if I want to continue owning Lancer EVOs, I may have to look into moving out of California hah.

 

Made some changes lately. As the big doggo ages (5 years old, not too old yet) and needing a second vehicle to chauffeur his big ass around, also for ease on his aging joints and future forecasting having to avoid using the lifted Tacoma to jump in and out of we decided to sell the 2014 LEXUS ISfsport to get into the EURO wagon game. I present to you the VOLVO V90 R-design P* tuned. This is a rare car, bought it used with 38,000kms sight unseen. We had it shipped via railcar from East to West then truck transport to our house. Nervous buying it the way we did, ZERO negotiations as many peeps were interested and the rarity of the car, jumped in head 1st while we hadn't even sold the LEXUS yet... It all worked PERFECT! Car is amazing!!!!!!! and we sold the IS.
