    Hey all,

I've been wanting to add new rims to my 2020 SR access cab as the stock ones have a bit to be desired. I've attached a photo of the rims I want, which I believe are 16 in by 7 in (see attached photo of the exact rims I want).

My current tire size is P245/75R16 109S. I'm thinking of either sticking with this size or upgrading to P265/70R16. So my questions are the following:

    1. Will my P245/75R16 tires fit on these rims?

    2. Will P265/70R16 tires fit on my SR without any issues like rubbing and whatnot? I have stock suspension.

Thank you all in advance for your answers! I'm really enjoying learning about these vehicles and I'm excited to make mine look cool!

If they are infact 16x7 the 265/70/16 should work. I ran 265/75/16s and even they fit on my SR with no rubbing or trimming but yeeeehaw was it tight

265/75/16 on said rims! Won’t have any issues with rubbing. I’m going 255/85/16 (33s) next and they fit apparently with stock rims also

That’s the size I have sitting in the barn waiting to get all my other stuff (slight lift etc.) together before I mount on some 16” fj style steelies. Love the skinnier look. I think they fit stick anyways. Op could run those too.

Your picture shows the Tacoma Off Road standard rims, so they should fit just fine. As to the tire fitment, many are saying yes. I run the 255/85R16 tires (~33") on my truck with an alignment adjustment and have no problem. There is a HUGE 255/85R16 thread on here somewhere.

I do have one concern with your desires: The lug nuts may have to be replaced. I 'think" your SR uses the older style cone lug nuts like most cars have used for years, and those rims use the flat pressure type of lug nuts. So, you may have to source new lug nuts too. Just a possible warning.

Note: I have no experience with the SR rims, just a thought. I'm sure others will chime in.

Thank you so much! The lug nuts are included according to the description, they're just not in the photo lol. I talked the seller down to $300, no idea if that's a good price for these used rims.

I don't need tires quite yet so I will most likely store the rims until I need new tires, and then have the new rims out on at the same time.

Thank you all for your responses, I appreciate it!

Can attest. My SR has different lugs. I was back and forth on my new steelies but seems like they should work ok. I think for the new OR wheels OP is talking about you would need the different lugs.

300 is solid. I paid 200 for literally 4 spare wheel rims because I like the look of the black spare steelies.

300 is a VERY good price. At the dealership, they are probably over 200 each, without lugs and centers!

265/70/16 is, or at least was, an optional factory size. That is what came from the factory on my truck. They are the same height as 245/75/16 and only 20mm or about 3/4" wider. They will fit just fine. If I were going up in tire size, I'd go with 265/75/16's. In fact, that is what I did years ago. They are about 3/4" wider and about 1" taller than 245/75/16's and are as big as you can go with no modifications. I can find no downsides. In fact they are often priced a little cheaper.
