I wasn’t talking about the word in or on. I was surprised so many people had upgraded to the 4th gen already. They aren’t exactly inexpensive.

Definitely love that all black look. And yep its just personal preference. Are those 35s? It looks good man. Just not a fan of the body. Im certain the everything about it is amazing. Mechanics and motor etc. Just the body is all im talking about. Most guys here lift their trucks. Maybe if i see one with 35s and a 6 inch lift i will have a better opinion. The shell is a nice touch. Aloha

No, those are 33's. I wasn't going to lift it at first. Plus there was a 3 month wait for the Westcott Lift Kit (only one available at the time) and I had to get my tires within 500 miles. I work for Goodyear, and they don't like other tire brands parked in their lots. They let us swap for any tire we want when we buy a new car so long as it has less than 500 miles. These are Duratrac RTs. Since I didn't have a lift, 33's were all I could do. Just did the lift last weekend. When these wear out, I'll put on 35s for sure. Who knows, maybe the TRD lift kit will be available by then and I'll replace the lift as well. TRD JON has his 4th Gen on the same lift as me but with 35's. Looks good for sure. I'm ok with the 33's for now.

The 2024 tacoma is ugly. I was going to purchase another one this year , until I saw it. Very sad.

Loved the styling of all Toyota Trucks. From the 80’s to now. What I’m really more interested in, is QDR and longevity as my main interest. If Toyota were to lose that aspect I would lose interest overall with this product.

20241117_163358.jpgHeck, I never even considered buying a Toyota vehicle period, until the 4th gen Tacoma came out. I think they look great! They have a very tough look about them and in the Bronze Oxide color has a kind of Halo Warthog vibe to them, LOL.

I probably had only 2 complaints about the 4th gen. Price & all the tech stuff. I like trucks for truck stuff but you be you. Even my 2023 is a bit too tech for me. Mine has 7k miles on it, it's a OR 4wd & yesterday I pulled into a market & parked next to a brand new Trailhunter with the plastic/paper plates still on it. Holy crap that thing is big! My truck looked puny parked next to it. The new truck is wider & definitely taller. I'm disabled, 73 yrs old & can barely get in & out of my stock OR- can't imagine how hard it would be for me to climb in & out of that truck. I like what looks like rock sliders instead of the wimpy predator steps mine has. Love the bronze wheels. not a fan of the whole snorkel look, Wonder why Toyota felt the need to print Trailhunter on the UCA's. Looks like he got every option they offered. Good looking truck. Probably a perfect truck for a guy like me who is not interested in doing a long list of mods.

It’s all very subjective, I feel like the 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen Tacomas are all fantastic looking in their own way, with each iteration having the necessary progressive styling touches to remain relevant but I also feel like Toyota made a conscious decision to keep a solid bit of retro styling in each of the first three generations to keep the trucks grounded in both the past and present. For me, the 4th gen is a 100 % modern looking vehicle and has lost that classic Toyota styling of old, and there is nothing wrong with that but as far as my taste goes, I’m not into full send modern looking vehicles, aesthetically speaking that is.
The 4th gen is a bit of an eye sore for me but that’s just my opinion man.

I think the 4th gen looks good. The front end and grille are an improvement; however, the truck is too fat in the A$$ and for no real reason other than looks and maybe a slightly wider track? Definitely hear lots of complaints of the nook in front of the rear overfenders catching lots of rock damage owing to its geometry.

I think Toyota used an in house AI program to design the 4th gen.

Zero damage on mine. But I have good mud flaps and some steps to block. I also don’t drive on gravel anymore.

The Tacoma is similar to a step side.
