It was crazy it was still trying to get away. I didn't have my pistol,so I called wildlife resources to come euthanize it.

 

I don't want to like that because the trees lost.

On the other hand it is kind of funny too, except to:
The trees
The driver who got reported
The person who has to do the paperwork
&
The dude who has to clean up the mess

After busting @$$ on my friends truck yesterday today was an off day, in the morning I did a bit of napping in the chair with the cat.

The afternoon was a bit of a road trip, shopping & $3.22 lunch at The Club.

The evening was a road trip in the LTD, 68 miles.

Over 120 miles today - a good day.

...and then...

I get home and the power is off.

 

I wanna see the tally! I know there are peeps that got nothing better to do than do "pay per feed" for the birds!

I need to add broken leaf spring to the list.

Called my local dealer who said there are no TSBs or recalls. For shits and giggles, I asked about new OEM leafs installed = $1,400. I asked is that a new design that wouldn’t crack and the response was “not that I know of”. Looking at after market and there seems to be two general groups, cheap Chinese and overkill offroad.

Luckily here’s a spring shop about a half hour away. Old timey industrial repair shop. They do alot of the big rigs. They did my ‘07 with the leafs still on the truck. Neat operation. I’ll take pics.
