Forgot to mask off reflectors???

So I was doing the BHLM today and I forgot the mask off the part where your daytime running lights, parking light whatever its called. Has anyone done that and does it still look and work fine?

 

probally not if you spray painted them

I'm assuming you took the lens out and you just sprayed the reflector area behind it? If that's the case, I did the same thing and it works fine. They're not supposed to project light, just make light as a turn signal. Obviously they won't be as bright but they're still functional.

I did it as well; on purpose. Works fine.

 

I did the same thing. Didnt even think twice. It depends how dark you went but in the daytime it is substantially different and difficult to see to say the least. Ill be redoing mine when I redo my BHLM.

You're talking about the removable lens right? or no?

 

yea the ones you pop out. I only did it to one im still working on it but i wasnt sure if i should just do the other now too. guess i will.

 

post some pics after, see how it turned out. Hopefully its bright enough for you.
