There is not limit for being trespassed.
There is a limit for prosecution. And their camera system is “really good”.
This is according to him.

I don’t talk to him a whole lot. But I did ask him about shoplifting once.
Mostly after telling him about my experience with their “security”. Which wasn’t “their” security.

The idiots in CA make their own legacy plates with a different than legal color scheme. Vehicle around the corner from my place has an illegal plate with no registration sticker and a ***redacted*** sticker in the top left corner. Genius.

This is 2024. They ain’t trespassing Charlie over $20. But they could trespass him as an accomplice if the coworker is a repeat offender.

Clearly the best decision is sell the truck and move to Mexico.

 

Tennessee isn’t California. They will trespass you for $5.
And the police are more than willing to do it.

 

In PA, license plates and titles are handled by private notaries and the DMV is just license issuance and renewal; I’ve got a specialty Railroad Preservation plate that cost $96, it’s probably gone up, and I’m not paying that again.

 

If Walmart wants to be an asshole, I know a great lawyer and can be an asshole right back; I did this before in 2019 following the “red light incident when the cops threatened to show up in court nail me to to wall if I dared fight the ticket.

I was driving a friend to another friend’s house and zoned out behind the wheel due to it being late and having just worked a long shift at the ca dealer where I was working at the time; I was going straight basically treated a red light as a stop sign. A sheriff’s deputy in a prisoner transport van was coming from my left pulled me over. The sheriff’s office and the Central Bucks Regional PD have different unions, and agreement between the two unions allows the sheriff and deputies to make traffic stops and detain people, but not write citations. The deputy held me there for twenty fucking minutes while he waited for a CBRPD cop to show up, then promptly lied to that cop and made it seem as though I’d just blown through the red light and almost hit his van.

The cop of course took the deputy’s word over mine and wrote me a $180 ticket without even hearing my side of the story; I said a few choice words and that’s when he said that he and deputy so-and-so would see to that I got the book thrown at me if I went to court.

The bar I worked at is owned by a powerful local attorney; I called him up the next day, and it was dealt with before the end of the month. I got a fine and no points.

I got stopped by the CBRPD (then the Doylestown Borough PD, before it merged with the Chalfont PD in 2014) in March 2013 for taking pictures of old Victorian houses. I was on foot, and not in my truck, and four fucking cops showed up for a report of a guy with a camera.

I got stopped for 43 MPH in a 25 MPH zone in May 2017, which was the first time I’d ever been pulled over since getting my license in May 2011, and got hit with a $180 ticket; I fought it with help from the same lawyer who helped me out in 2019, and got it knocked down to 5 MPH over which mean no points.

A few years ago, a CBRPD cop named Clifford Horn was arrested in NJ for soliciting sex from a minor, so to say that I dislike the CBRPD is an understatement!

That said, I highly doubt they got my plate because she literally just walked right out of Walmart. This Walmart normally has an employee at one of the exits checking receipts, so I’m guessing my probably got lucky. By the time they realize the inventory is missing, they will have no way of knowing who took it. Shoplifting is so bad at this Walmart, which is in a fairly affluent area, that condoms and lube are locked up!

 

All great ideas, along with selling the truck, moving to Mexico, you could change your name , dye ur hair , grow a beard and stash.

My dad bought my truck new in September 2009. He traded a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder for it. The Pathfinder was registered in Pennsylvania from 1996 to 1998, Virginia from 1998 to 2006, and Pennsylvania from 2006 until we sold it (my dad was in the Navy). In Pennsylvania, a Pathfinder is considered a passenger vehicle, but pickups and cargo vans must get “TRUCK” plates, so the Toyota dealer gave us a new plate; Pennsylvania is the only state I’m aware of that allows dealers to issue actual plates instead of temp tags.

My dad gave me the truck in December 2016, and since it was staying within the family, the notary let us keep the plate from 2009. All my dad had to pay was a title a title transfer fee, since he was gifting me the truck.

By 2020, my original plate was peeling; I wanted to get a personalized vanity plate that said “2ICE SHY” (my favorite song ever is “Once Bitten Twice Shy” by Great White). Unfortunately, even in January 2021, custom plates were backlogged by like six months; I settled for the train plate…

 

I’m obviously not gonna share my license plate number on a public forum, but this is was the RR plate looks like…

Cool license plate! I always look at the different designs when traveling on road trips. FL has an endless summer plate with a surfboard and sunset. That's currently one of my favorites along with AZ's Route 66 plate. I have the Route 66.
