Unless you're getting one of those free replacement engines, then a 3rd gen isn't looking as bad right now!

 

Would a couple of those filler pendants make a set of jumper cables? I've heard that a few of those charging stations have been found to be missing the connecting cables.......
May turn out that you have to carry your own double ended cable if that gets too popular.

 

All of those chargers are offline.

 

I live in Los Angeles I drive a 1st gen taco and at the inn in out and chik fil a i notice parking spots labeled for ev vehicles, it doesnt have a charger just a parking spot for them. This is prejudice towards my vehicle, what makes them so special, so I just park ther

 

And they might be a REAL big person.

 

Good. I think it’s one thing to block a charger especially when it’s the only one or one of few, but to have electric vehicle parking with no charging makes me want to park sideways across as many of the “EV only” spots as I possibly can

 

I have a question to ask. Let's say and EV owner pulls into a gas station. They are going inside to use the bathroom and buy some snacks. Is it ok for them to park at a pump and occupy that space (obviously with no intent to buy gasoline or diesel fuel) instead of parking in an open parking space?

 

Right now there are 8 billion oblivious assholes roaming this earth. Life became so much easier when I realized that I'm not here to police their inconsiderations; I'm just here to get along with the things that interest me. Parking and merging are two hills I have not the time nor energy to waste.

I think it depends on the situation, I’ve parked a rivian at a gas pump to buy snacks, but only when there was little to no cars at the gas station. I also wouldn’t park my Tacoma in the last charging spot for an ev. I might park in an ev charger for a short time if it’s close to where I want to be and there’s enough openings to where I’m not preventing someone from getting their car charged
But ev spots with no charger, clean air vehicle parking, and other reserved spots that serve no purpose I will park in without a second thought

OP why in the hell would a fairly new member with only a couple posts, post something like this on TW a good ol American internal combustion gas guzzling Toyota Truck forum? No one here really gives a crap that someone in some town in Arizona parked at an electric car charging station. We just don’t care. Why don’t you post something about your Taco including a pic? Do you even have a Taco? There’s a lot of very knowledgeable and helpful people on this great forum, why don’t you take advantage of that (if you have a Taco).

 

It’s a dick move. Just like the people who get gas from the one pump with diesel instead of the other gas only empty pumps.
