I do really like dewalt tools for carpentry, but only have milwaukee cordless because I'm a mechanic so own plenty of milwaukee tools and batteries already.
Out of curiosity does anyone else here find that Milwaukee cordless tool handles fit your hand better then dewalt cordless tools? Mainly talking about drills, impacts, recip and circular saws.

 

They feel about the same on drills and impacts. Saws…no. Milwaukee circular saws aren’t so great, both in feature and hand position. Especially the rear handle saws.

Dewalt makes shitty full size recipes. The one hand is ok. They both vibrate worst then flex and metabo believe it or not. Flex is probably more powerful and nicer to run.

there’s a bunch of other nuisances outside of just grip and power too I suppose.

 

i want to murder things when being anywhere near someone using dewalts hammer drill setting on their normal drill/drivers... that's reason enough to not use the brand.

A first today. Completely drained an XC 8.0 battery using my string trimmer. Lasted close to 1 hour I’m guessing. Had to push back my normal schedule because of Debby. And all the rain made vegetation tropical-like. Had to use another battery for the final 10 minutes.

Same here. For the price difference it might just be worth having to buy new 1/2" sockets.
