Good morning everybody, have a great Saturday!

I’ve noticed the springs on my '19 have been flat for a while and are now starting to go negative, I’m almost on the bump stops. I do have a topper and some gear in there but that’s only 350-400 pounds. I’ve been looking at off road spring packs but most seem to list 3” of lift and I’m really not wanting to go that high. I know they will settle with my weight but I don’t want to end up with excessive rake.

Go look at exit off-road in Jacksonville. They carry dobinson and 3 ratings. I got the 111's with a access cab and ended up with 3" lift with no weight.
@Crikeymike will have all the information.

Not the best forecast but that is all right, other folks have bigger problems.

I’ve been looking at Dobinson, I like their options. I’ll give Mike a call.

I did a complete suspension upgrade but your truck is 10 years newer than mine. I haven't put a ton on the suspension yet just a few hundred pounds. Maybe I'll try and get some gravel from the quarry soon.

I thought about air bags but with the way the springs are sagging I would end up riding on the bags all the time. The factory springs are going to need to be replaced.

I’ve got my old Chevy for hauling stuff around, the Tacoma is my daily and camping rig. I didn’t expect the topper and a couple of folding chairs to wear out the factory springs.

Their junk made for comfort rides. I definitely noticed the difference in the ride. But I also put the IMS shocks on too and had him put new springs and set the front to 2.75" and when installed dropped the passenger side to 2.5 setting for the taco lean. Dead nuts level on each side. I ended up with a 3" lift front and back but I still have factory rake.

Yeah, I looked into them all. I don’t want any lift so I’m hoping the guys at the Spring shop will have what I need.

I don’t know if Yota continued with the practice of putting a spacer between the leafs at the pin but that’s what did in my ‘07. It’s pretty sad because I never overload or off road my trucks.

Good afternoon friends! Hope you all have a great day :hattip:

Was gonna cut more trees down today, got one down and Cole and I made a 2 hour round trip to buy another saw and it’s raining again so no more cutting for a few days.

    Washout updates:
The first one has been replaced with a culvert of the same style that washed out. It’s concerning because it’s a running brook/creek/stream. :fingerscrossed: we don’t have another hurricane remnant or severe no name storm coming through anytime soon:

The positive- looks like both lane’ll be opened once they’re done. The poor _astards living on the other side of this have a 10-15 mile detour just to get home.

The one further down the route is open. A temporary, one lane bridge with temp traffic lights on each side. The estimate for a permanent bridge is still 2 years out.

The bridge has a 13’ wide warning… Considering the history of people ignoring height warnings on some of the covered bridges up here, I wonder how long it is before someone temps fate.

The folks with the washed out driveway…ugg. Looks like their temporary way out is through a cemetery down the road a peice.

It doesn’t really show up in the last pic but that road was cut into the woods where it wasn’t before. It’ll be interesting to see if they get the original built before the permanent bridge.

Venison burgers for dinner tonight here. The deer was from the woods behind the house. We also had home grown potatoes, beets, and tomatoes. I love this time of year!
