    Cool stuff

Something about a 5 spoke exposed lug wheel on a 6 lug truck never made sense to me

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
I installed the Expedition Essentials 3TPAM.
(Still need to wire it in, I don't like vampire taps as supplied.)

I'll be 3d printing a custom holder for my cell phone. The 'X-wing' ram mount is fiddly to use. This will work for my work phone or any passenger.

I also final installed @Kwikvette 's remanufacture of the 4 Wheel Parts hidden stiffys bed stiffener.

Lots of internal install pictured in the development thread.

that's great, I just bought the exact same backrack and mounting bracket. How did you attach your toolbox in the end? It doesn't look like the J hooks are going to have anything to hook too.

Wow that’s higher than I was expecting. Sounds like some great benefits though. I have always wondered if it’s $900 better tint.

All windows, all-around ... not cheap. To have someone who can apply tint-film without it bubbling off later is worth the money ... many do not have the skill. Windshield alone can be 1.5 hours if you are skilled, and the poster said he is getting windshield, sides, back.

I wanted a black front valance, so I wrapped mine. Turned out okay... from a distance. Lots of wrinkles on the underside, but nobody will ever see those. First time every wrapping something, so I think I did okay... especially since this is kind of a difficult piece to wrap, with all the contours and stuff.

Another price comparison for what it's worth. I did xpel ceramic 20% front and 35% rear and back windows. $600 ish in Scottsdale, AZ. I wanted to do the front windshield, but I need to get it replaced first.

What model shell is that?

I got the Ride Shocks rear shocks and they’ve been amazing for thousands of miles. So far, I’ve only installed the rear shocks because the front coils weren’t ready yet when I got the rears back in late July. Went from Los Angeles, CA to Glacier National Park in Montana and back to break them in. Lol

Backstory: The KING Shocks that I used to have on the rears were leaking and over due for service. (Had about 60k miles on them) Plus, I was getting ready for a long road trip with friends to Glacier National Park. The rear shocks were the priority to replace and I was short on time (partly due to procrastination). I was referred to AccuTune by a trusted local off road shop, Dirty Parts Off-Road in Culver City, so that I could get a quote for the rebuild on the KINGS. I believe I got to speak with John at AccuTune from day one. I mentioned that I would like to get a new set of shocks while the KINGs were getting rebuilt and he mentioned that they had these new RIDE SHOCKS. I asked if they had them in red. He said yes, and I was probably 90% sold on them because of that. :D

We continued to communicate via text and I decided to eventually go see them in person at El Cajon to pull the trigger on the purchase. John was very cool with helping me out with what to do with the KING Shocks and how to set up the RIDE SHOCKS for the rear setup on the truck.

Visiting their facility at El Cajon.

Cool RIDE SHOCKS swag I got from John: 2 shirts, a hoodie and a trucker hat.

    In with the new…

    Out with the old…

A stop during the road trip up to Glacier NP.

Campsite on the first day/night at Emery Bay Campground.

Group campsite for the following four days at Emery Bay Campground.

Got a nice view of the Hungryhorse Reservoir from the rtt

Thanks to a friend who helped me get the rtt leveled. The RIDE SHOCKS rear shocks and KING Suspension front coilovers helped by doing their thing too. Thanks, guys.

A shot with the gang by the Glacier NP sign near Lake McDonald.

A little side quest in Glacier NP…

Got to stop by Yellowstone for the first time on the way back home to Los Angeles. Checked up on the rear shocks during a stop to see how they were doing. They looked all good.

    Some souvenirs from Glacier NP

Out with the old in with the new. 2012 2nd Gen with the son-on-law (in 2017), 2017 3rd Gen going to my son (soon) and I get the 2024 4th Gen. Let the mods begin. :spending:

TRD Sport Premium. I think I'm going to like this engine/transmission and the seating position.

Rotated tires. Left the rears off and painted the hubs so people will quit telling me I’m missing center caps. I’d run the liftd customs F5/Gen5 caps, but they use adhesive and it would be an extra chore every rotation to remove a cap to hoist the spare, and install it on the one added into the rotation. This’ll work.
