    I was there in April of this year - saw a cool 4Runner and went to take a picture of it, didn't think anything about it. Well the girl driving the 4R saw me taking the picture and then followed me to the nearby shopping plaza and confronted me asking if I had a problem...

    Coming home with lots of ideas for mine from this trip.

    my wife surprised me with this from a local artist. The store owner said they had a Tacoma meet the day before. Would’ve been awesome to have known and gone. (I have a black Tacoma) :D

    What a random occurrence…when people have seen me take pictures of their trucks, they’ve usually ask “do you own a Tacoma?” Which starts a conversation of how great they are etc etc

    Not a fan of Hawaii for this reason alone. For an economy that relies so heavily on tourism, I've found that the locals are generally not at all friendly. I get that it might be a drag having tons of tourists descend on your home, but I don't find other touristy areas, such as latin America and Mexico, where the locals have the same degree of antagonism towards visitors.
