I got to the point where I would say, "Do you..." and that Lab was beside himself, the words 'walk' or'throw' no longer needed to be mentioned.. He was ready for either. I loved it, Mrs. JGO was unimpressed.

Best to you, I can understand your nerves and I'll bet you anesthesiologist can handle assisted breathing if necessary. They don't earn their money by putting you to sleep, it's earned by waking you up. "Waking up" is what they excel at.

    Thanks Dave!
I'm pretty sure they updated their site recently and it started happening after that. I could do without their forum, but there's quite a bit of good info. and knowledgeable people on there when it comes to anything involved with their bows.

:pccoffee: Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! More hot stuff on the way this week - yep - it's August. Planning on running errand, running RAV through the wash, and scrape some algae in the pool. Had a nice Mr. Taco Cowboy Special omlette for breakfast, and happily enjoying my coffee, and the funny papers (on-line version) coming up.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Finally got around to doing some troubleshooting today. I have a '92 Suzuki Bandit 400 that hasn't run in almost 2 years. Out of the blue, just quit starting. My first thought was: I hope it's not the igniter box ('92 Suzuki equivalent to an ECU) as they are no longer available from Suzuki. I checked both coils, OK. I have 12v to both coils. I have good grounds. I show timing pulses to the igniter. I have 12v to the igniter and a good ground there. Damn, that's it...off to fleabay. Found a new OEM box...$1k. That may be what the bike is worth. More looking shows 2 places in the UK that build aftermarket replacements...$330 and $570. Better, but still not convinced I want to spend that kind of money, no matter how fun this bike is to ride. Texted a friend, who also has a baby Bandit. He pointed me to a fleabay seller from China, Chineseum repop for $40, said he was thinking of buying one to have on the shelf in case. The part number they list as compatible doesn't cross reference with anything I can find...though it may be a Japanese or Euro market compatible number. I guess $40 isn't too big of a gamble :fingerscrossed:, worse comes to worse, I drop $330 on the British repop. The $570 unit is re-programmable, which I don't need. Should have it in 9-14 days. Would be nice to hear it run again...

    Morning all:

    Enjoy!

Don't know about that particular item, but everything I read said to just buy a brand new "China" carb for the Briggs & Stratton motor on my Zero turn, the common consensus was that "MOST" of them work just fine  , and like your part, way cheaper. For $40 I would give it a try and go from there like you are planning to do, good luck!

Our shop maintenance guy told me to try one of those Chinesium Amazon carbs for my Ariens snowblower. $16 for a brand new carb with a fuel shut off valve and it works like a charm. Had to cut fuel line and add the shut off valve but it runs better now than it ever did. I hat it but it was cheaper than just buying an Ariens rebuild kit. We have several pieces of outdoor equipment here and our shop owner has a farm with even more stuff that he'll drop off for our guys to work on. I'd say more that half are now sporting those Chinese carbs.

The best thing about stuff made in China is that they show us that we better step up our game to compete.

:pccoffee: Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! Pool cleaning went well yesterday, and it's almost all shiny. Therapy this morning, then absolute minimums this week! Good thing I have the two Ortho appointments (aside from maybe getting some answers), supposed to be 105, 106, 105, 105 until Friday. That's just unpleasant!

    Have a great trip @Ridgewalker1 !

There is no competing at $25/hr vs $25/month, with no EPA, OSHA, health ins., vacation, etc. On top of that, you're trying to compete with people who steal intellectual property, so the only investment they have is taking measurements and copying, no prototyping, trial and error, etc.

On a level playing field, there are few that could compete with the American worker.

I think I should stop there...
