they are the hcm version of cycra pro bends so their vertical adjustment is limited short of me doing some bending myself. Only had one thing sneak through at this point

Gotchya. They look like wrist breakers that high.

I did some riding Saturday but had a pretty off day. Couldn't jive with the bike, front tire was packing with mud so I was slipping and sliding, and my hands weren't keeping up with what my head wanted.

Took the gopro finally again but decided to use the chest mount. Can't see much over the bars so that was useless. Going to put it back on the helmet

Yeah i do think I am going to try to bend them down. My bar moved in the clamps so when I fix that I am going to revisit those too.

Dude those off days are the worst. Or when you haven't gone in a while and you feel like a baby deer walking for the first time till you find your flow again. But those feelings of when you are in the zone and timing everything just right, ugh best feeling ever.

I def have preferred the helmet mount too. I had the Dango design gripper on my chin and that has ripped off on branches a ton so I run one mount under my visor for my helmet light/camera. I'd like to get one of the "chin mounts" brand one for the helmet so I can record my night rides too but haven't prioritized it.

It was bad for sure. Last time out I felt great.

I've done the under visor and always found it distracting. Even the chin mount is a little. It's just enough in my view I think, I really notice the difference when I don't run it.

But the chin mount is the best for view imo.

I have a klim f5 so they have their own mouthpiece insert I run for the gopro.

I also have a proshot helmet mount, bulky but works.

Bought a Django but after receiving it I'm not sure how that would ever stay on.

I've got a chin mount on my street helmet, very secure and adjustable.

It def can be distracting, I need to run it without a case and my screen turns off in like 5 seconds for battery conservation so that helps a bit. The nice part is you can usually visually see when you are/aren't recording and if an issue arose. Usually I do all network connections off, brightness at 50%, voice control off, screen off in 5 seconds (or whatever the lowest is) and one touch recording and I can make a battery last much longer. But I am on a hero 8 so one model before they came out with those enduro batteries.

I'm surprised y'all don't like the django designs gripper. Mine is pretty rock solid, the spring on the clamp is a beast. Plus it's easy to put on and off with a glove still on if i need to check its recording or something.

I like them both tbh, can't really pick one over the other. they both scratch a different itch for me. As always, the correct answer is...both

dude nice! Remember when you were saying how much faster I must be because I got into B class

not sure if you will be around (invite to @gnarthirty2 and @nd4spdbh) but sometime this week I'm gonna book that Buttonwillow Aprilia Days event on October 21, which follows after a 2 day at Streets of Willow with 2WheelTrackDays. Would be cool to meet you guys

The face slappers rip it right off. I am already struggling to see ahead of me through them, now dealing with the camera being ripped off on top of it just sucks. For a street bike or even mild dual sport riding it's fine but the technical stuff it comes off way too easy.

Daughter was napping today and while i was nap trapped I drafted up a sale ad text for the s1000xr.. just to see how i felt writing it and if I want to keep it or not.. 90% sure I’m going to sell it (and hopefully make a bit of money on it..)

I have a question to see if anyone has delt with this situation before and what they thought about it.
Has anyone ever bought a vehicle or bike with (ownership of doubt) and had to wait three years to get the title? There is a bike close to me and was sold this way to the second owner. The original owner lost the title. New title will be issued three years from file date 11/23 so 11/26 is when it will be issued to owner at that time. The bike can still be sold with bill of sale and affidavit and receive registration and can get insurance. Just don’t know if it’s worth the hassle.

Can't say i have...never heard of a 3 year wait time to get a new title? Would it be too much work to find the original owner? The biggest concern is it might be a stolen bike.

I know lots of guys here in CA don't even bother with titles, especially when it comes to track/offroad bikes. If there's a bill of sale and ownership history I wouldn't be too concerned about the registration, but I would check with your insurance first to make sure they won't have an issue insuring it without a title. Didn't have any issue insuring mine without a title, though they usually do request I send them a copy once I receive it.

If they don't have a title in hand, I'd just move on. Not worth the risk.
