Wife got free tickets.
Trejo tacos $14...3 to a bunch.
Beer and mixed drink like $44.

workers had no Idea who Danny Trejo is...even with him slaving away every show turning out tacos in desperate need of Cholula.

 

How was AFI? Did they play any of the stuff like The days of the Phoenix?

Ok so there was an AFI junkie next to us and it was a big deal that the Played 37mm. They haven't played it live in A long time. So much so that the singer started singing and they stopped and said oh shit we're in the wrong key aren't we..and they had to restart. They also played Days of the Phoenix. Same album.
And then they of course closed with Miss Murder but were supposed to be off stage at 8:30 and it was 8:26 (he looked at someone in the crowds watch) and says "oh fuck, go" and it started right up.

The Leto brothers still got it.

 

He gave a shout out to Springfield mass. There's literally like no information on it, but he lived there after he left Louisiana. I believe he also lived in Greenfield or Deerfield one of them.

 

Pretty good price for the tix and foodage but ouch re the beverages..though it's been a while for me so I could just be out of touch.

Seth's in Lyndonville. If you know exactly what engine work you want, call ahead and ask if they want the work. If they do, you're in good hands. Wes Ward in St. Johnsbury is also a great shop but they don't always have someone to do engine work.

Whole assembly from Olathe Kansas Toyota. About three bucks more than a Dorman from the usual places last time I priced one.

Do the fj not lose the radiator supports when adding a front skid ?

 

I haven't a clue. We actually passed this group coming out of the woods when we were heading up there, they caught a radio TX and they just said hey we have 4 coming at you - 1 not under their own power. "This ought to be good!"

We turned around at the gate and caught back up and were talking to them while we were regrouping before they moved off to let us pass on the way to Millinocket. If I remember correctly the driver said he was riding the crown on a freshly graded road and didn't see the rock. Not sure if they were leading or not though. I know the FJ had a trailer on when this happened, but when we got to them they had shuffled it around to a different vehicle for the tow out.

Looks to me like the supports are gone for the IFS skid though

 

Don’t buy Dorman! Their warranty is good, but their bearings are garbage. I went through 3 of their carrier bearings, I got 2k miles out of them. They warrantied them and sent me a new one but my labor and time wasn’t worth it. I finally made them give me my money back and I bought the OEM carrier.

 

That's a rough day.

Also, that's probably my favorite place to test my suspension

 

These are JBAs? I had them for a loooonnnngggg time. Ton of miles. Replaced the ball joints a couple of times a piece. Was really happy with them. Swapped them out for new SPCs last fall which allowed for more forward caster and squeezed in some 35x10.5s.

 

4th gen Tacos are having suspension issues. There upper strut hats are failing

 

Nice! I think next stop for me is 34s in metric. Hopefully these will still clear. We'll cross that bridge when we get there. Haha

Does anyone have a suggestion for a semi ok coil compressor for a quick and dirty on collet adjustments for coilovers ?

I bought a Maddox spring compressor from Harbor Freight to move the lower perch on my 5100's up a notch. Most of the chain auto parts stores will lend you tools like that. You just pay for it, give it back when you're done, and they give you the money back.
