Nice haul! We got about 6 plants of pole beans going. They started to flower and have a couple baby beans starting. Dunno how much we will get off them but they look healthy

 

This was at least 10 gallons and off what’s left, collective two rows of the original 5. Came back strong with the rain.

And some of the best beans I’ve had were late planted like yours. If it rains you will be pleased I think.

Yep, another week or so and you gonna be busy.

 

Liking that sturdy fencing you have there for those climbers.

We've been getting about 6 pink guava (small and sweet) a day for about two months, theyre tapering off now. The White guava (in many ways like an apple) is starting to give us a couple day now, since a week ago.

its been really hot and humid the past few weeks, eggplant and potatoes not flowering yet.

 

Making more spiced pears today. Decided against pear butter, we still have a lot left from the last time we did pears.

Only picked for 15 minutes. Probably another 10 bushels on the tree. Deer food.

1st batch was 7 quarts, second was 5, doing 5 quarts more after dinner.

 

l have had a bad year for snakes, out of nowhere a Copperhead slithered up into the garage today.

Believe me, l am not either, hate snakes!!!

 

On the plus side I noticed new growth at my Duke Blueberry Bush. Still not sure if it is a weed or actual bush growth, but the leaves appear to match the actual bush.

 

Looks like blueberry. And red color on the stem is a bluberry trait.
Duke is a good variety. Large berries and a very prolific producer.

 

I have been mowing the back of the property with a snake shot loaded revolver for the same reason.
