You spelled dirt king wrong :D

The DD kit is pretty sweet as well. 15” and no issues for the last 6 years other than an axle shaft or two

I actually had seen one installed and in the des a few weeks ago, was a pretty legit kit from what I had seen, was 2wd.

And I just met another but 4wd a few days ago, he stated he was pulling very near the advertised numbers.

its pricey, but you get a lot for that price IMO.

It really isn’t pricey though with RCVs and all its cheaper than the JD kit with 934’s. And you’re getting a spindle in the mix too.

My solo kit is strapped at 15 but not metal to metal
But it’s also as lasting of a design as LSK and DD

It doesn't make any sense to me how the +2.25 and +4 Kits pull the same amount of travel. Very bizarre. I know they do, I've seen it, but I just can't quite wrap my head around it

True, I think the other is the locking the LCA down and only having the UCA for alignment, I could be wrong but most alignment shops wont want to touch that.

Any shop worth a damn that installs should be able to pull off a pretty good alignment sitting on the floor. I get lots of guys are doing installs themselves which I can see as an issue. But if you’re paying someone to do it…. When in Rome, do it.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Alignment shops don't want to touch anything LT anyway, best to get some slider plates, angle finders, and a nice set of straight measuring sticks or tape measures and do your own.

Agreed, however basic alignment shops still have limits on what they will touch, knowledge and all.

This is why I love The Truck Shop here locally, not only are they Toyota Specialists and desert truck builders but have a Alignment lift on site.

Always nice for sure. But 30k$ racks are over rated for our game. Digital angle finders on the rotors/spindles and a pair of toe plates are all you need to do a bang up job in your driveway.

I just use basic longacre plates and bubble gauge on ABS sheets stacked as slider plates and can guarantee I will end up with a better alignment than the kid being paid pennies at the local tire shop. Precision measuring instruments only help if the user actually cares about quality.
