Hitting a pothole on the highway at 80mph and having the shock punch threw the top hat sounds like a fun time.

 

Do you need a suspension while yours is rebuilt? I have my 6112s/ fox 12” sitting on the shelf.

 

Eventually, I think it'll end up being a winter/ spring project. I can't run 12s though (yet)

I like the people blaming the driver for going too fast. WTF. There are bigger holes than that on almost every paved road in New England. Blame Toyota for eliminating bump stops.

 

There's on on 495N in Westboro....every night they pinch the road down to 1 lane for the Mass Pike construction and your left tires will nail a slow emerging pothole on the bridge just after the pike merge....I know it's there, but it's going to open up soon....
It's the same pothole that took out my brother and 5 other cars in one night like a year ago...They keep packing asphalt into it and it softens and packs into some kind of sinkhole.

 

Pretty sure a bulltit of a rock on my road is what claimed my springs lol

 

Speed would have been a benefit.

 

The Pike is pretty bad too. Seems like every bridge has holes and bumps.

 

Tbf Greenville Rd that leads to Golden road north of Moosehead lake is like one of those holes in every 2' direction lol

And we crank 70 over those both ways. Downhill can be a bit sketchy lol

The left onto golden road is a joy too. We just stay 4th gear pinned over all the smashed 18" culverts

 

We went through there last week on Monday and there was a section right before the Golden road that got reaaaaaal squirrely lol. Hit it at probably ~70 and may have been sideways for some of it

 

Yeah it's one of my favorite areas. I shaved half an hour going to the camping spot up there when I switched to these foxs lol

 

I don't think we went below 60 when moving.
Other than the one time we were actually going the speed limit and this muppet yelled at us to slow down, drove at one of the guys behind me, and almost ran Bill off the road. You can see he was in the middle of the road, when I came up around the corner he was completely on my side, and showed no intention of moving over for way too long.

Nice lol. We run such far gaps between trucks up there unless it happened to rain the day before. That dust up there is killer. Not to mention it's basically cement
