you haven't really played in the sand until you've dug a 6 foot deep hole to burry your spare tire with a winch line attached to it.
Rear winch is a must for solo recovery.

I'm bumped and strapped at 13.25...measured at my hub with my +4 kit. Limiting factors are the upper uniball on stuff and outer tie rod heim on droop.

thanks for sharing these numbers, I've been trying to get an idea of where I can be with my DK kit. Three alignment shops haven't been able to get my camber below -.9, caster 6.7, toe .1 .... Guess i have to drive down south to taco garage or the alignment shop DK recommended

Would love to know how. I couldn’t cycle that metal to metal with no shock in the picture.

If it wasnt 104 degrees outside i'd pull my coilover and measure it for you. I was just diggin thru all my pics and can not find any where I used a tape measure and took a pic. But metal to metal was just shy of 14 inches. I dont know what to tell you, I got what I got. Not here for a dick measuring contest. I'm actually on the verge of pulling the trigger on the LSK 2wd race kit....so theres that too.

When going from one kit to another is it plug and play at all with things like uca double shear? Probably other things im missing off the top of my head. Bypass mounts maybe. Or do they sometimes vary from company to company and need to be cut out and redone?

Turn the wheel 20 degrees measure camber off the wheel or brake disc. Turn the wheel 20 degrees the opposite direction and measure the camber. Multiply the difference by 1.5 and that's your caster.
Or the actual geometry is just the degree of angle for centerline of your upper and lower spindle mounts. can line it up sorta okay with a thin straight edge like tig filler rod and something with a right angle laying on the ground to compare. Doesn't need to be super accurate in general. Within a full degree is good

I’ll @MonkeyProof for the sake of he’s in possession of my old kit. I cycled metal to metal 13.25-13.375. I cycled the piss out of it. I asked Harry about it several times. He told me he cycled it and measured at the tire. I was measuring at the hub nut. I wish I saved pictures in various text messages but I don’t have them. Tom they may be in one of our group chats/texts but shit that was what? 2 years ago?

    No idea...sorry

Most of the time it isnt exactly plug and play. Ive had to machine misalignments to get them to fit correctly on the upper. LCA has never been an issue. But none of that matters on the LSK kit....you cut out the whole coil bucket out anyways. [IMG]

The only thing that changed from when you had the kit to with it being now mine is the Upper arm misalignments that now comes with the upgraded uniball. I wonder if there's a change in the outside diameter. An increase in the outside diameter will come into contact with the upper uniball cup sooner.

Edit: I also have the Upgraded Lower Uniballs with Misalignments
