Thought I'd share some after/before photos of the Spidertrax 1.25" spacers, just in case anyone else wanted to see it with stock wheels/tires on the TRD OffRoad. It's a subtle change, but noticeable enough. Went for a test-drive and didn't notice anything too different.

Went around twice to double-check the torque specs on em! And will check them again once I get the BFG KO2s in a couple weeks!

It will be interesting to find out what affects that modification has on Wheel Bearing life.

Minimal worry and easy enough replacement.

I've been looking into this as well. In my findings over the last few days, I've found overwhelmingly that people who have never used wheel spacers assume that they will destroy something or are dangerous. And that people who have used them a long time have no issues with them.

That being said here are 2 kinds. The ones that are like shims that extend your wheel away from the hum with no extra hardware (danger). And the ones that are machines pieces of aluminum that have an offset that bolt to your hub first then the wheel will bolt to the spacer. The reason the first ones are bad are because you have to use your stock hardware that niw can't go into the treads as far. Also when using the machined ones, make sure to use medium strength thread locker and check the torque every time your do a tire rotation. I haven't found anyone who has said that theirs are loose yet.

As for damage or wear, if using the machined ones, all it does move your wheel out from your truck the same way a negative offset rim would and no one is complaining of wheel bearings wearing prematurely with their wheels 16 inches out from the body of their truck. However, in my findings, I haven't seen people using them over 3 inches. Usually it's 1 inch or 1.25

Sure, I think the photos I posted already give a good idea of how it looks, but here's a bit more direct shot:
