I have a similar issue with the loader and the standard QC and sometimes with the BH if it sits for a few weeks. Either way, cleaner and I can toss the current plugs and caps which just dangle in the breeze.

It’s not on the trailer so that should be fun if I can’t get it started.

Alright, any ideas how the hell to get a tire plug to not leak?

Never in my entire life have I struggled like this. No matter what I do, the plug leaks in the same damn spot.
It like the tire isn’t strong enough to “grip” the plug. The plug is SUPER easy to push in. And every time same spot leaks.

Don’t say, try another plug. There’s 3 down in the tire now. I tried 2 plugs. Nope. Went to put a 3rd in and the other 2 went down inside the tire.

    WTF?……..

It’s a slow leak. Just annoying have to seat the tire to the rim when I use it once a month.

That stuff makes a mess on the inside of the rim. But I’m about to say screw it, and pour some in.

Hope I never have to replace the tire in the future.

If you are using normal automotive size tire plugs you can get some big rig tire plugs cause they are slightly bigger and sometimes will work if the normal ones aren't quite big enough

I'm looking for head lamp replacements for My Kubota 2601 1156LL is standard fitting.

Anyone know of a "Holy Cow that's bright" LED replacement?

When I tried the offering from the FLAPS, I was less than pleased.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I have a Jonsereds 2040 that I bought maybe 30 years ago. I haven't used it much in the last dozen years or so, used to use it almost monthly. I've needed it twice this year and it's run terribly, won't idle, stumbles when you pop the trigger. Well, last time I used it (about 4 months ago, it was running real bad and just quit. Luckily, I had cut everything I had to cut. I figured it was bad gas as the gas was probably 2-3 years old. My weed wacker used the same mix and also quit. The weed wacker had been beaten badly over it's nearly 25 year run.

A few weeks back, I broke the weed wacker down and recycled what I could. When I took the fuel tank off, I noticed the fuel filter had come off the fuel line. Even if I had wanted to fix it, replacing the fuel line in the far end of the plastic tank would've been impossible.

Fast forward to today. I have a job for the chainsaw and decided it was time to figure out why it wasn't running, fuel or whatever. It would fire with a bit of (new) fuel squirted into the air cleaner (which was surprisingly clean), but wouldn't remain running. Started looking around, and damn, the fuel line is broken. I touch it and it just crumbles. SOB, I must've used ethanol gas for the old fuel.

I'm here to tell you, that fuel line is a bitch to run into the fuel tank! That one part of running the new line took about 90% of the time to repair. Once the new line was in place and everything buttoned up, it popped right off and runs like new again.

Moral of the story...ethanol gas sucks!

I swung by the local Stihl dealer yesterday and got a cover to protect the chain, I was expecting a minimum of $25 since it's 25"…..it was $5.39 + tax.

I like the looks of those longer bar saws.

But 18 inches of hard maple, or oak will bog most any saw one man cares to lift.

I just went to the DD web sight. I didn't see anything useful Is it the daytime running light?

Some of the lights are red, some are meant for turn signals, and some are for back up. that I see. The backups have a "Not for DTRL" warning.

I'm just using this one to fell trees with, I'll use the other saws with 20" or 18" bars for the rest

Or maybe this one will get a 20" bar and I can use it more. I like options.

Carb shows signs of water in it, for a while.

Drained some gas in a container and you can see the water separated from the gas. This is about 1/3rd of it.

I wasn’t gonna fight with that carb, ordered a new one from Amazon for $18 and it runs like a champ now.
