i'm sure even she could understand the logic behind such a great deal, such that even if when* it comes time to sell it you would walk away clean if not slightly enriched.

you would essentially be getting paid to own that bike. who can argue that logic??

I just keep my phone in my pocket or in a tank bag. I have messed up a couple phone cameras from vibration. I really have nothing to be looking at on my phone while riding. I think the only reason I put it on the bars is when I am resetting my Speedo and need to look at gps speed.

I have this issue sometimes with the x-grip in my truck. gotta place it just right or it will max out the volume, hold the power button for shutoff, or take multiple screenshots

I am really leaning toward the zx4rr. It will be a great track bike and something to have fun riding back roads. Being able to ring its little neck and not going triple digits in first gear is a plus. Even the zx6r is too powerful to ride like that on the street. Plus I will still have the FZ1 for power and longer rides. Just about ready to take it off the market. Not getting any interest in it as of yet. I think it’s a truly underrated motorcycle.

I'm jealous. that bike would be a blast to rip around on, track or street.

Do I get a trophy for calling it on the zx4RR? You're a year earlier than I thought you'd be but still haha

    Yes!!!:proposetoast::cheers:

I haven’t bought anything yet though. There is a used 2023 close to me with 800 miles on it.
It does make the most sense for what I want to do.

The one in arlington (maybe mill creek)? Looks sweet and unmolested. Dude has other bikes and a lift in his clean garage, that's always a great sign. And it's been posted for 4 weeks so I bet you could get a deal or at the very least a test ride on it.

I had contacted him a couple days ago and he is pretty much sticking to his price. What makes it appealing is that it is NON ABS which all the new ones close to me are. I do not want ABS it’s a deal breaker. Anyway I hit him at $8500 cash right now and he turned it down. I am going to wait a couple days and offer 9k and see what he says.

Zx10 to zx4? You're more impatient and indecisive than a kid at Christmas. Maybe take a minute and ride a few bikes first

Well I know what I need but the kid in me keeps telling me dumb shit. I don’t need a 1000cc sport bike that’s for sure. It’s just fun to look, dream and find good deals. I wish the GSXR 750 was still around but in reality that was probably too much bike for what I wanted. I had a blast on the R3 at the track and could absolutely rip the back roads. The bike was just a little too under powered.
Yes I am a 56yr old impatient child.

An 08 zx10r for 5500 is not a deal, that's what it's worth. It's just that everything else is so overpriced it looks like a deal. It's still a 16 year old bike. No features, cool tech, boring suspension. Come about November-February the deals will come out. I wouldn't buy a bike in August or September knowing the "let's make a deal" season is right around the corner.

I agree!! Going to do everything in my power to resist jumping on anything right now. Even the zx4rr that’s forsale the guy is asking MSRP and has 800 miles so no where close to a deal. I do have fun looking and dreaming though. Almost great full (kinda) for what happened to the GSXR. That bike was not an DEAL! Although it caused me some stress, anxiety and loss of sleep. Just never had anything like that happen.

Got my rearsets put together. Took WAY too long. Should not be that complicated. But it's done now

Also after reading more the zx4rr all come with abs standard and cannot be turned off. They make kits to eliminate it but that’s it.
I am sure next year there will be more used bikes available.

There's nothing wrong with abs. Yeah it takes a bit to get used to but it's better at stopping than without
