Roof top tentless camping trip to Flagstaff with my girlfriend, stayed at the KOA at the base of Mount Elden. Hiked the Fatman's Loop with my buddy this morning.

170,000 mile oil change, and I did the spark plugs. Honestly easier than I expected. I also cleaned up the engine bay a little bit.

Instead of paying $200 from WildTop, I built my own "North/South" rails for the topper. Now I can throw the tent back up there!

Wash day today, figured I'd get the taco looking clean before hauling all my girlfriend's stuff to her new house tomorrow.

Put in a lot of work today helping my girlfriend and her twin sister move to her new place. The wildtop did great, I love how I can open the sides for easy access, and the north/south rails are the perfect distance apart to fit a twin mattress in between. Fun times!

Went on a nice 4th of July trip with my girlfriend, we went up to her cabin near Payson and saw the fireworks show there on the actual 4th. We then headed up to my family's cabin in Heber for the festivities there on Saturday, ending in the fireworks show there. Got the truck all muddy while doing some exploring. Good times!

Picked up a set of 255/80r17 Cooper St Maxx's on some bronze painted 4runner wheels today. They're a bit old, but still have good tread. However, when cleaning up my old tires, I noticed 3 of the 4 have screws in them, in between the lugs. I will see if discount can warranty them towards a new set of 255/85r16 Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws, and then I'll keep the Baja wheels. I love the skinny 33s though, they're fantastic!

When I put the used Coopers on my truck, I washed up my old tires to sell. During that, I found 3 screws in my tires, so I took them to Discount Tire, where they credited me towards a set of the new Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws in 255/85r16. Figured I'd get new, that way they have the warranty and coverage from the certificates. I'm very happy with them! They ride so nicely being C-rated, and they're so much quieter than my KO2s ever were, even when new. I can actually hear the wind noise now! Little bit of rubbing, and I have to figure out what to do with the spare, but I'm happy with them.

Got my tent all mounted on the WildTop, and I played with my spare trying to get it to fit underneath the bed in the stock spot. I didn't hammer the guides or anything, but with 2 psi it barely fits, but it touches every side. I would be ok with that, except it is riding right on the exhaust pipe and I am worried about head damage. I have no idea how anybody can fit a 33 underneath, unless their's aren't true 33s. With the 33.1" Wildpeak AT4W, there's no way.

Fun scout outing up to Flagstaff this weekend! Got to camp in the rain, something rarely seen here in AZ. Did some mountain biking, went to the Lava Tubes, and did Flagstaff Extreme. Only had to take one kid to the ER for some stitches on his chin after a crazy mountain bike crash.

Great looking truck and build. I’m in Gilbert and head up north to camp a lot during the summer. More in Sedona and Payson area. I will have to keep an eye out for you driving around town.

Nice, we are actually going up this weekend. Do you know any good trails up there? I really have only camped and fished there.

Not any crazy offroading trails that I know of, but I always like driving the forest roads at night looking for elk and deer. Also, check out the Tonto Natural Bridge if you have never been, it's awesome!

Got a hitch mounted tire carrier, but it didn't fit with my armored rear bumper. My buddy helped weld in a 2" extension to make it stick out further so I could mount it up.

Went out and camped for the second week of dove season with one of my buddies from high school. We only got a few dove, but it was a good time!

Little one night cabin trip to my girlfriend's family cabin. We took our new pup for the first time. She did not enjoy the drive there and threw up in the backseat. She was an angel and did great coming home though.
