I want to get 285/75/16’s and the CBI covert bumper with a warn 10-S winch(From my research this combination is a little over 100lbs). Hoping I can kill two birds with one stone by getting the westcott preload collar/spacer kit (Account for sag from weight and lift to clear the 285s) wondering if anyone who has this combination or similar can speak from experience on weather or not it will work.
    Thanks

So we should first address problem a.) Lift will only help clearence at ride height. You will need a competent shop to add caster to your alignment in order to clear the cab mount.
Problem b.) I have a much lighter stub bumper assembly and with 650lb coils set to a full 3" of lift I still sit at 2" after the sag from the extra weight. So your likely going to sag back to stock with that lift.lastly I hope you have a plan to bump the rear at the same time as these trucks drive way better with a bit of rake on them.

You'll be fine with that weight and either the Westcott spacer or the Eibach lift springs. I ran just the Westcott spacer and 285s on the stock Pro wheels for a couple years and have a hybrid front bumper with a 10k winch.

You'll still need to do some work for the tires to clear everything like some combination of CMC, plastic trimming, good alignment/SPC UCAs. Getting a lift doesn't help fit larger tires on an IFS since when you're offroad you'll still cycle through the suspension and things will rub even if they don't on road.

Edit: here's a pic of the truck right after installing the bumpers and Westcott lift (with an AAL in the rear)

Wescott is good but with the added weight you’ll want to run 700lb springs up front

2020+ Pro spring rate is 616 lb/in. From Mark@Eibach during their lift spring testing. Spring length is as important as spring rate when getting your setup right.

The trd pro coils are not the same as other trim levels Their rated higher. I have a DRT hybrid bumper with lights etc NO winch and could feel the front end sag noticeably while wheeling. I then went with Kings 700lb coils and it stiffened up the front and the sag while wheeling is not there as before Added bonus remove the front sway bar and reduces the front sway

They look different, yes, but are the specs different? I don’t think anyone knows. You say they are “rated higher”. Can you elaborate?

I guess you missed my post above. The 2020+ Pro springs are 616 lb/in

there’s a recent thread somewhere on here where someone was having problems finding heavier springs to fit his 22 pro because of some difference between the 2022 and previous model year pro springs -I can’t find the damn thread but will link if I do.

To the Op- if you like the ride and feel of your factory suspension do your homework before you buy or change anything, what works on a 20 or 21 may not work or fit on a 22.

There’s not much to elaborate on, Other than trd pro being RED they look the same If memory serves correctly all trim levels below the pro are rated at 5-550lbs and pro at 600lbs

The 22 and 23 pro springs are different. Install something from/for earlier pros and you will have fitting issues.

    Just a market example:

With the 22 and 23 pros you might be better off just selling the truck and getting a trd off-road if you want to lift or put on bigger tires, because you will loose the attributes that make the 22 or 23pro a pro if you change anything. It's a closed system.
Hell, nice 22 and 23 Pros are still north of 50 grand in NorCal, even a 2019 Pro was listed for 48k at a NorCal Toyota dealership.

Take step back and deep breath Chicken Little, the sky is not falling. OP does not need to sell his truck, and he wasn't even asking about new springs in his first post. The Westcott collar lift will be fine for his application.

The quoted post was for the broader general audience. It was something I've entertained as a business option if the days comes I need to get more out of the 22 pro parked in my garage.

I still don't see your point man. What exactly is so special about the '22-'23 Pros that makes them unsuitable for a lift or bigger tires? "It's a closed system", what the hell are you talking about?

I've been running that collar lift on a '20 Pro for almost 4 years and have 35s. How exactly have I ruined my truck? What attributes that make a Pro a Pro have I lost?

You may very well be correct. I’m only speaking of My 21 pro. Can’t say for newer models 22 +

See posts above. Evidence suggests non-pro are ~700 and pro are ~600.
